MyXPView is a hybrid PvM/PvP addon to track your experience and rank points. Comes with a nice dynamic XP|RP bar and a full featured XP|RP meter.

The XP|RP bar has a persistance behavior where gains are displayed in "packs" given they fall in a given customizable time-frame delay. The packs or single XP|RP gains are displayed as a white-ish overlay bar next to your current XP percentage (you can set this option to '0' to disable it).

Command lines

/mxpv toggle : enable/disable MyXpView UI globally
/mxpv xpbar : enable/disable XP bar display
/mxpv meter : enable/disable the XP meter UI
/mxpv reset : resets the XP meter
/mxpv fade 'x' : sets the XP gain display & pool duration (can be set to '0' to disable)
/mxpv rf 'x' : sets the XP rate factor (maximum 1 - only used in 'combatonly' mode)
/mxpv console : enable/disable XP logs in chat window
/mxpv combatonly : enable/disable XP meter running only when in combat
/mxpv switch : switch between XP and RP tracking
/mxpv autoswitch : auto-switch between XP and RP tracking
/mxpv scale 'x' : scales the addon's global size (default 1)
/mxpv dump : dumps a few variables and options

All options are available in the Addon settings menu.

Special/new options

/mxpv autoswitch : when activated the addon will automatically switch to either track your XP or RP as soon you enter combat against an AI or Player.

/mxpv combatonly : let's you have full control over your grind time and stats by only running the metter while you are in combat.

/mxpv rf 'x' : rate factor - if and when your are in 'combatonly' mode, you may want to account for the time you are actually not in combat, i.e. moving around or resting, let's say 1/4 of your time. You can account for that extra time by doing /mxpv rf 0.75 or via the settings menu.

You're welcome And by the way you may want to update the text on addon page too. So people will know it is updated to new level cap.

New! v1.6 : Update for update 6 provided by @Garkin. If your character is VR14 with XP cap, addon will show champion XPs instead of veteran points.
Those who want to keep using this feature can update the addon theirselves to make it work with the new level cap(Vet16). How?

Do this:

- Open your MXPV addon's folder.
- Locate the MXPV.lua file and open it with any text editor.
- Go to Line 114 OR simply try Ctrl+F and find this code

Code:
GetUnitVeteranRank("player") == 14
This piece of code returns TRUE if your Veteran Rank is 14 which than provides the feature above. However, for now it will only work on Vet14 so change that to 16. So simply it will be

Code:
GetUnitVeteranRank("player") == 16
- Do the same for line 480 OR search for the same piece of code again and replace the 14 with 16 on that line too.
- Save it and start playing again.

Hi & thanks for the fix =)

That functionnality broke long ago - it used to work tho

Could you upload the fixed addon somewhere (ie dropbox) ? So I can just download it and upload it here. I'll credit you ofc. Because I'm afraid I can't test it I uninstalled ESO.

Thanks.

I recently updated my add-on adding it to the HUD scene so it hide away when opening menus (inventory, journal, etc.). Would you be willing to add it to MXPV as well?

Here are the steps I followed.

1. Somewhere in your initialization code, create the fragment you're going to use and add it to the HUD and HUD_UI scenes.

Lua Code:
  1. MXPV.SceneFragment = ZO_HUDFadeSceneFragment:New(MXPVUI, DEFAULT_HUD_DURATION, 0)
  2. HUD_SCENE:AddFragment(MXPV.SceneFragment)
  3. HUD_UI_SCENE:AddFragment(MXPV.SceneFragment)

2. Then we drop the 'control:SetHidden' in favor of 'fragment:SetHiddenForReason'

Lua Code:
  1. MXPV.SceneFragment:SetHiddenForReason("UIMode", not MXPV.SavedVars.UIMode)

"UIMode" could be anything, it's the reason description for hiding or showing it.
Also I added "not" before the option because the argument indicates whether it should be hiding (true) or showing (false) and your option is the other way around.

3. Finally, I had an issue that no matter if I gave the fragment a reason to be hidden, it would always show upon reloading the UI, so I added an extra step during my add-on setup, right after I loaded the saved variables:

Lua Code:
  1. if not MXPV.SavedVars.UIMode then
  2.   MXPV.SceneFragment:Hide()
  3. end

I think that's it. Let me know if you have questions or anything. Awesome add-on!

You may have corrupted saved variables. Deleting and re-downloading the addon isn't enough. Please go to the SavedVariables folder (where the AddOns folder is) and delete MXPV.lua. Then do a fresh install of the addon again.

Tell me if this fixes your issue.
I have never used this addon before and am having the same issues.

Deleted mxpv.lua, fresh install, no change.
It seems to me that the recent Imperial City update has broken this addon. Looks like we need the author to update it before it will work again due to the recent API changes in the update. Hope it gets fixed, I quite like this one.

This used to be MXPV default behavior but 1.6 broke it.
Addon main page says it is updated to 1.6.5, how it broke? Anyways, you plan on fixing it?
