MyXPView is a hybrid PvM/PvP addon to track your experience and rank points. Comes with a nice dynamic XP|RP bar and a full featured XP|RP meter.

The XP|RP bar has a persistance behavior where gains are displayed in "packs" given they fall in a given customizable time-frame delay. The packs or single XP|RP gains are displayed as a white-ish overlay bar next to your current XP percentage (you can set this option to '0' to disable it).

Command lines

/mxpv toggle : enable/disable MyXpView UI globally
/mxpv xpbar : enable/disable XP bar display
/mxpv meter : enable/disable the XP meter UI
/mxpv reset : resets the XP meter
/mxpv fade 'x' : sets the XP gain display & pool duration (can be set to '0' to disable)
/mxpv rf 'x' : sets the XP rate factor (maximum 1 - only used in 'combatonly' mode)
/mxpv console : enable/disable XP logs in chat window
/mxpv combatonly : enable/disable XP meter running only when in combat
/mxpv switch : switch between XP and RP tracking
/mxpv autoswitch : auto-switch between XP and RP tracking
/mxpv scale 'x' : scales the addon's global size (default 1)
/mxpv dump : dumps a few variables and options

All options are available in the Addon settings menu.

Special/new options

/mxpv autoswitch : when activated the addon will automatically switch to either track your XP or RP as soon you enter combat against an AI or Player.

/mxpv combatonly : let's you have full control over your grind time and stats by only running the metter while you are in combat.

/mxpv rf 'x' : rate factor - if and when your are in 'combatonly' mode, you may want to account for the time you are actually not in combat, i.e. moving around or resting, let's say 1/4 of your time. You can account for that extra time by doing /mxpv rf 0.75 or via the settings menu.

I will credit you OFC...

Oh and by the way sorry at getting pissed at update requests I really don't have the time for them and I don't play the game anymore so I really see no benefit about working on this stuff. I got other projects running

Last request: Garkin if you got the time, would you mind looking at my other addon http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info5...illBuilds.html. 1.6 broke it but I don't think there's much to fix about it... Obviously skills are handled slightly differently in 1.6 there's a glitch related to the skill bar 1 & 2 indexes. I checked it ingame but can't quite remember the error 100%.

Thx if you can.

No worries.
I didn't think for a second you were suggesting I work on the addon myself or make a fork.
I was mostly whining to myself that I know better than to do that - even though I might want to.
Let's hope some addon author decides to take this on.

What would make sense I think is a lock icon top right, and a popup dropdown menu for some of the new features + some other tweaks like colors in the Settings menu.

I might be able to do it but im rly not into ESO anymore so maybe in a couple months if I get back This or Option #1
Thanks for the answer.
LOL, Ya I knew that was a TON of features.
I didn't realize you had retired from ESO and can understand why you would not have the inclination to work on it. I don't blame you.

I have been avoiding learning LUA for MANY years.
OCD - that's what I am.
It's bad enough those times I go figure out how an addon is doing something then tweak it for what I want.
If I was to start making and/or fixing addons it would be bad.
My awesome wife would become a "programmer's widow" in short order.
I'd end up all OCD about stuff and she'd rarely see me. I get too caught up in making it work "right."
This is fact...it happened all the time when I had programming projects at work several years ago.
She called me the zombie that used to be a husband. The paycheck from the job made it tolerable for her.
There is no paycheck for doing game addons sooooo, ya, there would be no positive side to it for her.
So far I have avoided the LUA temptation.
So far I still have an awesome, happy wife.

Change the thickness and length of the exp bar. Would be nice to make it a thin line.
Change the color of the bar's background, XP amount, and the XP just gained flash segment.
Toggle the bar text on and off.
Put the bar text above, below, and on the bar. That mainly for when the bar is a thin line.
Set the XP meter UI to show only on a mouse over.
Set color and opacity of the XP meter UI background.
Lock the bar and XP meter UI in place.

As an awesomeness feature....
Put settings and lock/unlock clickies on the XP meter UI.
Choose what is included on the XP meter UI. (I personally don't care about time or mobs left to level.)
Setable XP meter UI text colors.

No, it doesn't work. If you want to use LAM2, you have to change your code.
This could help: http://libaddonmenuconverter.azurewebsites.net/

Another options are:
My updated LibAddonMenu-1.0
Sasky's LibAddonMenu 1.0 to 2.0 Interface
My FakeLibAddonMenu-1.0. It does the same as Sasky's interface, but different way. Usage is the same, just the library name is
"FakeLibAddonMenu-1.0" instead of "LibAddonMenu-1.0-to-2.0".
All right I downloaded your fix. Why did the authors need to break retro-compatibility ? Can anyone test it ? Not sure I can test it myself tonight.

Thanks
Tested it, and it now works for me. Thank you for the update.

It looks to me there is a problem with the option's menu library - and it makes the addon crash. It's an external library so maybe I should include the newest version. It is strange only you got the problem so far.
