Based off of the original ZrMM by Zerorez. Will be updating with fixes and features as time allows.

** Added global functions to support showing/hiding custom pins **
function ZrMM_RegisterCustomPin(pinType, name) - pinType:Number(custom pinType), name:string(friendly name)

function ZrMM_UnregisterCustomPin(pinType) - pinType:Number(custom pinType)

function ZrMM_ExcludePinType(pinType, exclude) - pinType:Number(custom pinType), exclude:Boolean(true to exclude it from the minimap, false to include)

Current feature set:
  • Resizeable and moveable minimap.
  • Supports zoom in/out VIA keybind or settings panel
  • Toggle visibility VIA keybind
  • Supports displaying worldmap pins(filter and color options carry over)
  • Supports Group Member real time location in same zone
  • Configurable anchor position for zoom and zone label
  • Configurable color text for zoom and zone label
  • Configurable hide/show zoom and zone label
  • Select to use camera or player heading for player indicator
  • Tracks group members position live in same zone

Current features being investigated:
  • More robust group member tracking
  • Replace group member pins with imagery that conveys more info(class/role icon? names?)
  • Border/alpha/round look
  • Map rotation
  • Clamp certain pins to map edge

Tech debt:
  • Investigate existing API functionality
  • Code restructure/rewrite

function ZrMM_RegisterCustomPin(pinType, name)
function ZrMM_UnregisterCustomPin(pinType)
function ZrMM_ExcludePinType(pinType, exclude) - pinType:Number, exclude:Boolean
These global functions can be used by addon devs to tell ZrMM to not display certain custom pintypes. The register and unregister functions only add to a list currently that I may or may not add configurable options in the minimap itself to toggle visibility. For now ZrMM_ExcludePinType is the method to hide pins.

I still seem to be getting a UI Error of "Too many anchors processed." but no indication what is causing it and nothing else but the above quoted text. I assume since this was listed as a fix for the latest release that it is ZrMM still. I have the latest version and was hoping it would fix it but sadly not. I tried removing minimap pins to see if that would relieve anchor processing strain but no such luck.

Anything I can do to help troubleshoot:
1.) What add-on this is coming from?
2.) Why it is throwing this error?

Ui-Error

Could anyone help me or fix the Problem.

I always get Error messages:

Load[CustomCompassPins.xml(7,21)] (TerminateCurrentObject): Error: Virtual control [CustomCompassPin] already exists.

Load[CusomCompassPins.xml(12, 9)] (Control): Error: Unable to create control [CustomCompass]

Failed to create control 'CustomCompass'. Duplicate name

Each Error in one Error popup

This is something you can find under settings if I'm understanding you correctly. You just go into ZrMiniMap and edit the size bar.
how do I go into ZrMiniMap? --> Found it, Thank you!

I have a silly request, purely for vanity/aesthetics, can you please add a black border around just the minimap area itself? Maybe allow us to judge it's thickness between 1 and 3 pixels or something?
^ I would also love to see this as a feature. Possibly with other options as to how your mini appears too (i.e. by default its a square, some other ideas could be a circle, a triangle tilted so that it fits into one of our screen corners etc.)

Sorry if its already been mentioned that it's an upcoming feature.

This is something you can find under settings if I'm understanding you correctly. You just go into ZrMiniMap and edit the size bar.

In the future, is there a way to get past a repeating UI error?

The new update makes an error that repeats and i am unable to close it, i know in WoW when i use to play they had addons such as bugcatcher to prevent UI error popups and display in chat. Is there an addon or feature that i do not know about?

I'm going to re-download the previous version for now, that has its problems but at least i can play.

I made the mistake to minimize the minimap to a minimum, so it is not present anymore.
I also can't find the pixel to make it bigger again.

please post a solution to make it normal again.

1.13 still throws the same LAM error

edit: as someone previously mentioned deleting the savedvariables and redoing the settings seems to be the only way to get rid of that error
Would be fine unless i have several characters to manage this on.
Account wide settings very much needed!

There already is. "Hide Zoom Label".

Minimap Zoom Display

Can you please add a feature for us to be able to disable the minimap zoom number. For me i don't really need it and it just throws me off sometimes looking at the map. Thank you!

No error on my side. Try /reloadui to force the variables file update or manualy delete the variables file.

Otherwise i use the "default" settings for anchors.. did you have some non default values ?

Another lead, have you some others tiers map plugins ? (for pins with skyshard or others ?)
I have test:
- /reloadui = not work
- Delete the variables file = not work

Other map plugins i have is Garkin's Addon:
- SkyShards http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info128-SkyShards.html
- LoreBooks http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info288-LoreBooks.html

It worked fine with the 1.11 version (not anymore, same error)
I have the same Problem if i disable Wykkyd's Framework it works fine
Are you using multiscreen support in Wykkyd's Frameworks. I don't get the error when I shut that off.

When i turn off this one everything work great!
