EasyTravel  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.9.3
by: sirinsidiator [More]
This simple and lightweight addon makes traveling to other zones easy as never before.
Instead of having to select a player that you want to travel to like in similar addons it takes a different approach and you just need to right click on the zone in the location tab of the map screen.
In the background it will scan your group, friend list and guild rosters for players that you can jump to and then attempts to travel to the target location via them.
The list of players is sorted by source, champion points and level, meaning it will look for the highest level group member, then friend and finally guild member to travel to.
It also automatically detects errors and tries to jump to a different player, or wait for new targets when there are none left.

Slash commands:
/tp (aliases: /travel, /goto)
Without arguments the command will teleport you to your group leader while you are in a group and not the leader yourself, or to your current zone otherwise.
If you start typing anything as an argument, it will autocomplete to zone names or players that are available as jump targets. It will also accept partial names and complete them internally to the first item in the auto complete list.

Not sure. I'll have to see if LibZone, or one of the new APIs that have been added since I wrote EasyTravel can help to automate this. The main problem I want to avoid is that simply iterating over all zones would fill the autocomplete list with lots of targets that cannot actually be reached via a jump and would just print an alert message when used. My goal is to keep it down to a list of just the things you can and want to actually teleport to.

You can add it yourself as well.

First close eso.
Then go to "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\EasyTravel" and open ZoneList.lua in it. You can use the Windows Editor for that.
Now scroll down till you find "local zoneIds", this table contains the Ids of the zones you are currently able to port to.
At the end of it, after "1133, -- Southern Elsweyr", add "1146, -- Tideholm". You must include the comma the " -- Tideholm" part is optional. Also make sure you add it befor the closing bracket "}".

After that just save and close it and start eso.

To add other zones download LibZone https://esoui.com/downloads/info2171-LibZone.html
It contains most zones with their ids in the LibZone_Data.lua file. Just search for the zones name and add its id to the ZoneList.lua.

I've updated the description, but the ingame addon list should already show you which dependencies you are missing when you open the addon description there?

Obviously no guarantee that you end up at the right wayshrine, but you can do a second hop super fast.) Extra points for autocompleting to the map name rather than the town/wayshrine name So many times I'm told to head to this town or the other and I don't even know what map it's on. Would love this! No idea if the data to support it is easily available, so just throwin this out as an idea

Thanks for considering
It's actually already somewhere on my infinite todo list.
Getting the data may be a bit tricky though and I am also not sure how well the autocompletion will work (in terms of getting the entry you actually want) when there are so many new targets in the list.

It works without a problem for me. Have you tried if the problem persists when you turn off all other addons?

Tideholm missing from destinations.

Please add Tideholm as a valid zone.

Here's how:
      .\ZoneList.lua
      Insert Line 71:
Code:
        1146, -- Tideholm

LibSlashCommander

Please add info to the description that it requires LibSlashCommander. Will save time for newcomers, like myself.

It's not a bug. It's a feature! "Daenia Dolmen Manor" is the default nickname of Daggerfall Overlook (since it is right beside the Daenia Dolmen). You can change the nickname of your houses in the housing editor.
