Awesome Info  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
What is it?
Awesome Info is designed to be a no-fuss, minimal impact add-on that will warn you about the things you want warning about, when you want to be warned about them.

It includes:
  • A clock
  • Low Weapon Charge tracking
  • Low Durability warning (includes repair cost)
  • Low Bag space warning
  • Horse feed timer
  • Research timer
  • Alert for unspent stat points or skill points

I DO want to know all these things, but I do NOT want a bunch of add-ons on my screen all the time telling me I have 95% durability, 82 empty bag slots etc. That's great, I am ready to adventure, now stop messing up my screen!

The goal for this add-on is to just tell you what you need to know, when you want to know it.

Settings
Access the settings panel in-game by pressing ESCAPE key, selecting SETTINGS from the menu and then Awesome Info from the sub-menu.
  • Durability warning: when any worn item drops below 25%
  • Durability critical: when any worn item drops below 10%
  • Bag space warning: when you have 10 spaces or left in your backpack.
  • Bag space critical: when you have 5 spaces or left in your backpack.
  • Feed horse in 30 mins: displays and counts down, when you are within 30 mins of feeding being available.
  • Stat Points/Skill Points: Shows if you have any available that you haven't spent.
  • Research timers: These are character specific, so it will remember that you want to track Woodworking on one character and blacksmithing on another. Can be configured to warn you when the current research is nearly complete.
You can drag the add-on around the screen and it will save the position.

To do list
  • Options for icons instead of text.
  • Ability to dismiss/snooze the warnings.

Can we expect an API update for this addon? It looks like it works fine, but it still says that its out of date.

Bag space

I had 51 items in my bag, meaning it was to warn me of 9 items left. However when I updated my bag from 60 to 70, it still told me that I had 9 items left when it was now 19 and the warning should have gone away.

As always, thanks again for your support! I haven't written an addon before, but I can imagine it can get tiring at times with people constantly wanting something changed or reporting bugs and whatnot. I'm sure I can speak for everyone that uses ANYONE's addons, we appreciate the effort.

You have to change the MoveStop function like this for it to work:

Code:
function AI.MoveStop()
	AwesomeInfoBG:SetAlpha(0)
	if (AI.vars.textAlign == "LEFT") then
    	AI.vars.locx = math.floor(AwesomeInfo:GetLeft())
	end

	if (AI.vars.textAlign == "CENTER") then
    	AI.vars.locx = math.floor(AwesomeInfo:GetCenter())
	end

	if (AI.vars.textAlign == "RIGHT") then
    	AI.vars.locx = math.floor(AwesomeInfo:GetRight())
	end

    AI.vars.locy = math.floor(AwesomeInfo:GetTop())
end -- AI.MoveStop
When you move the widget the anchor is now at different position therefore the locx need to be updated correctly. Sorry about that I overlooked it

Couple of minor issues with latest version.

When I start ESO this addon's position resets.
So it puts it slightly to the left and over-lapping the compass. Even if I move it, it's position will reset this next time I login.

Also, I don't think the skyshard reminder should be in red. Red means something is critical. Something you need to take care of immediately. eg low weapon charge or low bag space. Needing 1 or 2 more shards is not a critical thing. I do like to know this info, just doesn't need to be red.

I have the same issue. I reset it so it's shown in the upper right corner of my screen, like this:

but after I port to another zone or do a /reloadui, then it sits here:

Thank you for the quick update! I, and I'm sure the other users, appreciate that you continue to provide support.

LOL, I too noticed the typo (SbowmanDK). The N and B are beside each other.
