Purpose

When you check the auto-loot option in Teso menu, drops go directly into your bag. But you do not know what you looted.
Lootdrop graphically displays this informations (icon, quantity, rarity and text) on the screen by stacking it in a specific and transparent window.


Features
  • Displays your loots
  • Displays XP, Veteran XP, AP, TelVar, Guild XP, Inspiration (Craft XP), all configurable
  • LootDrop frame is movable (menu -> lock/unlock). Move it at the desired place, and lock it
  • Diiferent icon style from menu (older one by default, Pawkette style or Rushmik style)
  • The quantity appears before the name, not after
  • Rarity color on border of the LootDrop frame configurable in menu (on/off)
  • Loots could be stack up (default) or stack down
  • Key binding for Autoloot on/off and lootdrop frame lock/unlock
  • Show detailed loot in chat if debug log is checked
  • Show items looted from mail

Actually I like the new look of XP/money gains. I'd just suggest to use different color for total, something like:

I notice it last night.
I ll try to correct it in next version.

I think the change i have done for money, for example, has got an impact in amount accumulation because of this code Line :
difference = difference + ( newDrop:GetLabel() or 0 )

newDrop:GetLabel() is no more only a number so there is no more acumulation

Actually I like the new look of XP/money gains. I'd just suggest to use different color for total, something like:

Since the latest update EXP and Money gains don't seem to accumulate correctly.
Only the value of the last sold item is show, it just gets overwritten instead of added.
Same for exp, only the base kill exp is shown the finesse exp gets overwritten.
This most likely is due to the changed format for the display of money and exp.

I had a look in the code, and there is a major bug in how the objects are reused for exp, ap, money and vet are reused. They are reused by there index in the _active list, but that is not a constant value. When objects are removed from the list that value will change. You should reuse them by object instead.

Here is a function to format a number with "," separator. To change it to use "space" change the "%1,%2" to "%1 %2".
Lua Code:

I had this informations because there was sufficient place in a loot frame to add it :-)
In veteran levels, to know in percent where you are in the current level, is interesting for me :-D

Question: someone know how to simply format a number with a tousand separator like this:

1000000 => 1 000 000

I do not see that in string lua format

Here is a quick edit to have money and XP show only gains like before, while keeping all the other new improvements. Open LootDrop.lua in a text editor (Notepad++ recommended) and make the following changes:

Line 933 - Comment out the line by putting two dashes in front of it. Should look like this:
--newDrop:SetLabel( tostring(gain) .. ' ' .. pctexts)
Next right below that commented line paste the following:
newDrop:SetLabel( gain )
Line 861 - Comment out the line by putting two dashes in front of it. Should look like this:
--newDrop:SetLabel( tostring(gain) .. ' ' .. pctexts)
Next right below that commented line paste the following:
newDrop:SetLabel( gain )
Line 789 - Comment out the line by putting two dashes in front of it. Should look like this:
