Srendarr adds the ability to track your buffs and debuffs you cast on others, both the long-duration abilities that appear under the Character window as well as the short-term buffs that normally only show via graphical effects on your character. The aura tracking is designed to visually mesh with the standard UI theme but includes many options to change the appearance.

Please note that this initial release, while it has been bugtested, uses a database of durations to "fake" timers for short-term buffs and this database uses durations obtained out of game from wikis and thus may not be entirely accurate for every ability. In a situation where you discover a timer not matching the duration, please let me know so I can update the numbers

/srendarr unlock -- unlock the aura display for movement
/srendarr lock -- relock the display

Additional options will be found in the Settings menu under S'rendarr.

As for the Flames of Oblivion - correct localized names are:
en = "Flames of Oblivion"
de = "Flammen des Vergessens^p"
fr = "Flammes d'Oblivion^pf"

this don't work in de and en.

Is it possible to Show the 6 sec. Weaponcrit buff from Molten Armaments?

little repost, i believe the author wil look at it

any updates of current buffs? for now it shows like 50% of all buffs in game or even less
like other addons too

is it possible at all? i mean add buff like that:
1) detect if player using bow
2) detect if he doing doubletap
3) detect if he has passive of bow line to increase movement speed
4) show buff for 3 sec after doublepat. increasing movement speed bonus

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but it would be nice to add to the buff bar the block icon when your blocking. other buff trackers had it and i was nice to see.

German localization

Here are reported two issues with german ability names:

current names:
L.Aura_Dark_Shades = 'Dunkle Schatten^n'
L.Toggled_Flames_Of_Oblivion = 'Flammen des Vergessens^f'

correct names:
L.Aura_Dark_Shades = 'dunkle Schatten^p'
L.Toggled_Flames_Of_Oblivion = 'Flammen des Vergessens^p'

Lightbulb Shadow Barrier Passive Buff

Hello, I'd like to start by saying nice add-on, I use your's over the FTC buff's except on my Nightblade because FTC shows the cooldown for the Nightblade passive "Shadow Barrier."

These are the stats I have for it at VR8 and with 2/2 points in it, Patch Five (5):

Shadow Barrier-
Increases aromor and spell resistance by 1,750 for 4 seconds when coming out of stealth or invisibility.

  1. It is possible to track shield strength, I made a small test to find out how shields work:

    The biggest problem is to link ability with a shield, because game does not provide such information.
  2. "Hardening" (de: "Abhärtung^f", fr: "Endurcissement^m") is not tracked, because EVENT_COMBAT_EVENT reports all damage shields only if ability fails, there is no notifiction if ability succeeded. I.e. there is no way to detect name or ID of the ability which gives you a shield, current damage shields are displayed just because of used workaround - addon adds an icon when player activates action button on the hotbar.
  3. I have tested that game doesn't provide any information about damage reduction value of Empowered Sweep. There is no event which can be used to get this information.
  4. This would be possible, it just depends if Kith wants to add this feature. In my opinion it is not necessary as this information is usually displayed in scrolling combat text (for example Combat Cloud).

Its unfortunatly not as easy as that with the way S'rendarr is setup. The short/long buff determination is an in-game split. Long term buffs are ones that show up under the character panel and are properly tracked by the game; short term are 'faked' by the mod (and so are subject to inaccuracy).

If Defensive Posture is in long term, then its because the game itself tracks it properly. You could manually add it to short buffs as well, but (at present) S'rendarr just populates the long term buffs with everything it finds (outside of the few filters).

Not exactly. Combining them would do that (all your buffs of any type would be in one long list sorted by name or duration), but the intent was that you can manually add a new short term buff to the code files. Its a little work, and will get changed if you update to a new version but its an option if its imperative. It will still apopear under long duration as well though.

If I ever get a sizeable amount of time to do so, I would like to remove the short/long determination from being code-wise and just make it (as people would more likely expect) a setting of minimum duration to count as a short buff.
I dont have the knowledge to do that but anyway. If you find time, i would like to see this at short buffs. If not np this addon is special without this detail too.

I would like to ask you if it is possible to place Defensive Posture (Skill of Sword and Shield Line) to short buffs. Srendarr says that long buffs are from 1m and longer but Defensive Posture is 30sec skill. Now srendarr show this skill at long buffs. Thx in advance and thx for this great addon.
