It is back!

This little Helper provides you with the ability to track your Gathering-Findings!

It records when you gather something and lets you find your way back to that specific node later on.

Trackable Things are:
-Plants
-Ores
-Wood
-Fibers/Cloth
-Water
-Runestones
-Treasure Chests / Lockbox

Once you harvested a node, the data will be stored and for the next few findings ignored
(since you don't want to be pointed back from where you just came).

After some findings (Default is 5 but you can increase the Amount in a dense vegetated area if you want to), these nodes will be activated again and shown on your little Compass.

The Compass lures you then with a pointing Arrow and a Color-Indicator to the nearest node - once you reach this node the Compass will search for the next node and point in its direction!

After having scanned a Map for a while you will be guided over the map straight to the points you search!

The Compass allows you to adjust the Settings for each of your Character individual so that you can search for Treasures on your little Nightblade whilst hunting for Plants and Water on your Main. Although the Settings are Char-Individual, the Nodes will be shared among them!

You can find the Settings in your Game-Settings under "LucysCompass".

Last but not least: This AddOn also comes with a tool for Analysis of your gathered Data and a Merge-Tool, which lets you merge your achieved Data with Others! The Analysis-Tool is basically a MiniMap that shows you the Nodes you harvested on a tiny, game-external Map. This gives you a visual feedback where you will be most successful while gathering your preferred Nodes and where you won't find many!

A structured textbased Data-Analysis can now be found in the Settings-Panel

Since this is programmed as an Overlay you can also view it ingame. (Java needed)

I fixed this in the newest Version - so you just have to grab the new one once it's through with uploading^^

People who downloaded the AddOn in the last 2 hours need to update as soon as the new version got pushed due to a version problem at the push - the old one still contained the debug-messages. Sorry for the inconvenience.

when i go to the Addon info it states: "Updated: 05-01-14 07:32 AM"

also when i open it the infos are correct :x

Thats correct, the MiniMap is an addition - it's more for a visual analysis of your gathering since the data isn't updated in real time (ESO only saves the variables on reloadui and restart and the map basically reads those). But let me know if there are still issues with visibility on the map after a few more collects - since i have had only small time to test the English version it might be a naming issue ^^ You can increase the node radius in the Lua file if you desire it (local nodeSize = 0.002, this is about 2 Meters on the overmaps), i experienced that in a dense planted area a small radius is often more accurate but sure there are areas where a larger radius can come in handy Will add this as a command so that you don't have to change the Lua file in the next update!
I will add that opportunity to collect the data if unchecked in the next update, thanks for the input ^^!

Thanks for the code, i will include it in the next update! I was looking for such a thing but didn't see that CVar can also retrieve the language^^ yeah its for the names and aligning the real maps with the corresponding ones in the MiniMap

This is kind of already possible - because the time for the respawn of a node is random (discovered from instant to more than 10 minutes) you can let the addon ignore the latest gathered nodes. if you're on a map with high density of nodes it might be wise to increase that amount (default is 5) with /lcplus or decrease with /lcmin^^

That might be so, but this addon has its own unique way of doing it, a lot of people might actually prefer it this way, on top of that, what fun would it be if you had no choice in addons, it would be like only having black & white clothes and you couldn't pick any other colors , would be boring

I will try it out, the UI looks interesting

Would it be possible to add timers to the different nodes, for example if im running around in The Rift and harvesting Alchemy ingredients, to grey out a node I just harvested? And after a certain amount of time (the time it takes for the node to respawn) make it look like normal again?

If its been harvested by someone else, its nothing this addon can do about it, im just thinking for the nodes I am harvesting by myself, or whatever is possible to get information about, for example group members.

Thats not a reason not to make one, I welcome anyone who wants to contribute with something. This is also first release, the author might have other stuff coming, or maybe not, doesnt matter, I think that its great that people spend their time trying to make our lives easier

Oh my, you did a good job here
But the only way i can get the overlay map to show is running the MiniMap.jar manualy, but it dos not show the nodes i picked up, tried to restart it and also reloadui in game.. .

And then last the arrows dos not show, bu ti do get a indication of what way to go (Color change).

But over all dang good addone thx

Also as it is now you basically have to stand right on top of the node before it resets and you can head to next one, should be a margin of like 5-10 meters, cause you should be able to see the node on that distance

Might also be a good idea that even if you have unchecked like Ore, it should still record the location if you pick it up, in case i decide later to want to start a route for Ore, and then not have to find those again i already did (Dunno if it already do this)
