Replace your default inventory's list view with a more compact grid view! The default list view shows 11-12 items at a time (in my case), so it can become a pain to navigate your inventory.

Grid view sacrifices detailed information for more pictures. Sometimes you want the detailed information, so I've included a keybind that will toggle the grid on and off.

Features:
  • Grid view for your main inventory, your bank, your guild bank, your craft bag, NPC's stores, AND the buyback screen!
  • Toggle grid view on and off! Useful for when you need to scan with more information.
  • Customizable grid size.
  • Four default skins to choose from, with more available for download.
  • Authors can submit their own skins for download. (See Inventory Grid View Skin Template for details.)
  • Offsets item tooltips so they do not cover up the grid (can be turned off).
  • Set scale of item icon animation.
  • Works with Advanced Filters and other inventory addons such as Item Saver and AlphaGear!

at first, i love this addon! but, would it be possible to add a function to set a default tab when opening the inventory? my game freezes everytime for a short moment when i open my inventory into the ''ALL'' tab.

It's usually a good idea to read through previous comments to see if anyone else has already reported an error. This particualr error has been reported and discussed quite a bit, there is a problem with using both IGV and Auto Category so until the error gets fixed (if it ever does) you have to chose which one you want to use, either IGV OR Auto Category. If you want more details just scroll down and read!

Wondering if there's going to be an update to fix the misplaced red icons re: can't sell icon size

Also, if I click to return to List View each item is "indented" with the size of the indent increasing with each line until an item disappears to the right, then it starts over on the next line.

I see the other reports of the problem with Auto Category and IGV going back a few months but no response from the IGV author yet. Doesn't fill me with much hope of any sort of update any time soon sadly.

Re: Auto Category & Inventory Grid View

I too am having this same exact issue! It is throwing random lua errors. Can't esc, can only move using WASD, have to completely close game from alt/tabbing out and restart. Relogging usually fixes until I have to reload UI. I really like the Auto categories but, Inventory gridview is my fav so, will disable the other until there is a fix. Thanks so much for all your hard work!

Ok so now my inventory doesn't have grid view at all. I uninstalled auto-category, and still no grid view

Weirdly though, my bank has grid-view working WITH auto-category addon, but not my inventory - anyone know how I can fix this?

Inventory grid view is working fine . It is auto catagory that is the culprit try disabling that one!

Auto Category & Inventory Grid View

I have errors when I have both Auto Category & Inventory Grid View running. This only started occurring with the Wolfhunter update.
I've run with just those two AddOns active.

After the error, the ui becomes unresponsive and stays in this state until I logout as I can no longer access ESC to get to the AddOn Settings/Options.


Steps to reproduce:


1. Download the latest versions of both addons.
2. Enabled both addons.
3. Reloadui.
4. Try to do anything. Mouse function is limited. Cannot use mouse to rotate view, cannot click on screen objects.


Please take a look at this.

I don't know exactly since when this is happening or if it has to do with Summerset, but the custom icon zoom level doesn't work anymore. Hovering over the icons makes them very large.
Can anyone help me with the zoom?

Not working for me in gamepad mode even though the add-on is enabled
