Wykkyd Achievement Tracker provides simple enhancements to NPC dialog windows to make them slicker and easier to navigate.

Features
  • Track multiple achievements
  • Shows how much you have completed at a glance
  • Shows either a detailed view or a simplified view of the achievement goals
  • Option to notify you of any achievement updates. Either in the chat or per "alert" in the upper right corner in a non intrusive way, every 25% of the achievement (or at any update if the needed amount is <= 100)
  • Option to automatically detect achievements of the zone you're in and tracking them
  • Customizable keybind to toggle the whole thing on and off & to toggle the notifications on/off. See under Settings -> Controls
  • Left click an achievement to open the achievement window
  • Right click an achievement to toggle the detailed mode
  • Middle click an achievement to untrack and remove it

This is a new continuation of Biki's Achievement Tracker written on top of LibWykkydFactory3 and enhanced with my standard tweaks & features, and lots of bug fixes. I will be maintaining this addon here going forward. Basically I decided that I, as a player, preferred to have the same Wykkyd features available to me while using this addon, and as a developer it makes it easier for me to maintain if it's all in one code-base.

Advanced Setting Controls (available in all Wykkyd's Addons)
  • Save To Default - This feature saves a snapshot of your logged in character's CURRENT settings as a save set named SYSTEM DEFAULT.
  • Load System Default - This loads the current SYSTEM DEFAULT as your character's settings and effectively sets your character to MIMIC the SYSTEM DEFAULT. This behaves exactly like Mimic below, with the exception that the SYSTEM DEFAULT only ever changes when you manually save to it from any character, by clicking Save To Default.
  • Mimic... - This sets the current logged in character to adopt the settings of another character until this value is changed. This causes the logged in character's saved settings to reset every time you log in or Reload UI to be like the mimic'ed character. If you set George to mimic Bob, as you save settings on Bob while playing those settings will become George's settings too whenever you log into George. As you play George and change his settings manually, those changes become temporary unless you clear the Mimic box. This affords some fairly awesome opportunities for your play sessions.
  • Wykkyd's Preferences (where available) - This will Reload UI and set your active character to the basic settings that Wykkyd uses for that addon for his characters as his STARTING point, he customizes each character from there and you are encouraged to also do so.
  • Reset All - Resets all settings inside the Advanced Setting Controls section for that addon, for that character

Use of SYSTEM DEFAULT allows you to basically create system-wide default settings. I say "system" because these settings are not filtered by account name. So if three people share your computer, they all adopt the system defaults (if they selectively choose to do so). This is a "neat trick" for people with multiple accounts as it lets you share settings across all of them.

For example, if you log into your first character and set every Wykkyd addon up the way you want. Then in each you click "Save To Default", one by one. You've now established your "baseline", if you will. You can then log into each character you have (regardless of number of accounts), including that same first character, and inside each, in each addon, click "Load System Default". Now every single character will use the same settings. In fact, because you saved defaults from character 1 and then set character 1 to use those same defaults, even that character is inheriting the SYSTEM DEFAULT every single time it loads. This means if you're on character 7 and decide to change your default for all, all you have to do is tweak your settings and click "Save To Default" and every single character you set up this way gets those settings automatically.

WARNING: System Default, and Mimic, can be dangerous. As of this time this ALSO includes saved item sets, gear sets, quest header settings, tracked achievements... IE: it includes data saved by the addons too. THIS WILL BE CHANGING IN THE FUTURE to be more intuitive and robust. But I didn't want to delay this feature until that was 100% polished. After all, this is fairly useful as is.
2.3.5.5
Updated to API 18

2.3.5.4
Updated to API 17

2.3.5.3
Updated for API version 16

2.3.5.2
Updated for API version 15

2.3.5.1
Updated for API version 14 (1.9)

2.3.5.0
Corrected an issue preventing Automatically tracked achievements from being removed when leaving a zone.
(only the achievements for the current zone should show when "Hide old Zone Achievements" is selected.)

Moved the Advanced Setting Menu option to the bottom of the settings menu. (where Advanced options should be).

Known Issue: DLC tracked totals (on the Journal page) do not show correctly for IC and Orsinium, though the DLC total for both zones does show the correct total. This issue does not impact the actual tracking of Achievements and will be addressed in a later update.

2.3.4.2
Updated to support ESO 2.2.4

2.3.4.1
Updated the API version supported to 100012 (1.7.0)

The only way i found to track any achievment is to enable the "Automatically track zone achievements" setting.

I am having this same problem as well, where I cannot select achievements to track. Is this a bug, because I know this addon was updated? Would really like to be able to track achievements.
I squashed the Lua errors with the last update. I have to find time to fix the checkbox bug. Not sure if I'll get to that tonight. ZOS changed their UI for achievements so the windows I was using before don't exist anymore.

Hi,

i installed your addon...great work ! But for reasons i don't know, i can't toggle Achievement tracker and notifications. Keybind doesn't work. I got an error mess...

Perhaps that helps you, to find out what's wrong and fix it.

A small suggestion - when I left click on the achievement, it will open achievement scene. But it will be better if you also select cliked achievement.
To do so, replace line 345 in addon.lua (it is redundant code anyway):
Lua Code:
  1. local catId, subCatId, achievIndex = GetCategoryInfoFromAchievementId(id)
with:
Lua Code:
  1. ACHIEVEMENTS:ShowAchievement(id)
(it has to be called before scene is shown, so really just replace one line with another)

EDIT:
As to the pixel - it's a backgroud of empty achievement window. When I disable "Show background" option in the settings it's gone.
But probably best solution would be adding check to the _addon.ToggleBackground function if there is any tracked achievement.
Warning: Spoiler

Good to see this addon continues with you, Wykkyd. One thing that always bugged me, however, about it (Under Biki and current) is there is a small pixel that appears when the addon isn't tracking anything and is hidden. For the longest time I thought my monitor had a dead pixel but it goes away when the Achievement Tracker is switched off or the UI is hidden. Here's a shot of the upper-left part of my screen where the Achievement Tracker sits. The far left is where the rogue pixel is.

Thanks!

Fix inc tonight

Zenimax decided to change the way that addon manifest files are loaded and has limited file path names to 128 characters. This unannounced change has negatively impacted users with longer computer names and install paths, as it causes addons with longer file/folder names to have issues loading subfolders and files in those subfolders.

This has resulted in users having issues with Wykkyd's Achievement Tracker that the addon developer could not re-create. I will have a fix published by 7pm EST, hopefully, after work & errands & dinner. I apologize for the inconvenience.

PLEASE SUBMIT FEEDBACK TO ZENIMAX about this error, as it is a completely unnecessary error that they caused with stealth changes to their addon manifest system. Yet again doing things wrong and hurting all of you, continuing to prove that to them add-ons and the people that use them are an afterthought.

Your install has to be corrupt. That line could only throw that error if your copy of LibWykkydFactory3, the embedded library, wasn't loaded up. I really don't know what else to tell you. I can't re-create the issue on my end unless I delete that file. Are you deleting that file after you install? Do you have another addon that's wiping LWF3 out of memory before my addon loads?
I've tried to uncheck all other addons and got the same message. it worked before update 4. except from that upgrade, i have done nothing. And reinstall it...
That's the thing, too... it was not impacted at all but update 4.
He and I have the exact same issue and error (as I bug reported) the 4 other Wykkid addons I use work fine and give no errors.
This has to be the new file path limit that ZOS implemented. And I bet the reason it doesn't work for you guys is your c:\...etc path to Documents is more characters than mine. And since the addon's name is long...

Friggin ridiculous.

Biki works fairly smoothly. I'll just run that for time being
But it's a great addon otherwise!!
