Imperialization  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 2.5.1.0
by: Randactyl [More]
Imperialization converts all eligible, new gear entering your inventory to the Imperial style. You can also set Imperialization to only convert items as you equip them, giving you a little more flexibility for deconstruction yields and selling to players.

Conversions do not happen by default. You must set which styles you want to convert from the options menu.

NOTE: Not all gear is convertible. The Imperial Edition of the game is required for this addon to work.

WARNING: Once converted, items are bound to your account. Once bound, an item cannot be transferred to another player.

Everyone else, knows they need to turn it on to work like intended

My idea for this was for some diehard roleplaying as an Imperial, though you raise a good point. I'll look into a toggle to convert on equip rather than on receipt.

Edit: Implemented. 1.6 is pending and should be available for download shortly

However I feel like this one might be bad for new players to the game or those with lack of knowledge (which I could be one of them)

Few issues are:
1. Once imperialized, they are bound to your account... Say goodbye to selling equippment to players.

2. Wouldn't this addon turn rare styles including deconstrution yields only imperial style mat? (Nickle). The player will lose out on the possiblity to gain the rare style mats through deconstrution... Only way to earn them would be from finding mats in interactable meshes and buying for other characters. (Unless I am mistaken)

*Maybe place an nice big Red warning on the addon page to warn new/lack of knowledgeable players, to know what they are getting into by installing this mod.*

Besides what is listed above.... great job I can see this saving time (All those right clicks) turning gear into imperial style on the fly.
You are correct. I'll add some more warning text in the description
