German translation for all Buffs/Debuffs/Auras/Spells

This is a file for all Buff-, Debuff- and Aura- Addon Developers who want to add support for all Languages to their addon.
This file currently includeds most of the German spellnames translated from English to German.
All have been tested ingame to make shure they are correct.

Whats missing? [Wie kann ich helfen?]

English:
Currently some spells are missing we hope to get attention with this download
from all German Buff Tracker Users to compleat the list.

Whats different about German Spells?
1. Names are case-sensitive
2. Gender assignments like ^f ^m ^p ^n have to be correct
3. Umlauts have to be replaced with special code

German:
Wenn ihr mir bei der Ergänzung von fehlenden Zaubern helfen wollt
schreibt in die Kommentare oder einfach Ingame an @Tony1697

Wichtig bei der Übersetzen ist:
1. Das ihr die Groß/Kleinschreibung beachtet.
2. Die Geschlechtsbestimmungen wie ^f ^m ^n ^p müssen korrekt sein.
3. Umlaute sowie das ß müssen durch einen Code ersetzt werden z.B. Hände = H\195\164nde

4. Mit dem AddOn Harven's Improved Skills Window könnt ihr beide Morphs eines skills sehen auch wenn ihr einen davon schon ausgewählt habt.
5. Mit dem AddOn Combat Log Statistics könnt ihr sehen welche Geschlechtsbestimmung ein Zauber hat wenn Ihr ihn benutzt.
6. Um die hier heruntergeladene Datei zu betrachten oder zu editieren empfehle ich das Programm Notepad++

That's what I wrote, "tiefer Schlag" is wrong, "tiefer Schnitt" is right

So BEWARE It's not easy to use, i explain.

At any time you can type /zzz to have the diff command.

So we want the first part of weapon ( weap1 ) we have to type

1 /zclear
2 /zzz weap1 ( it will fill the waz table with the first part of weapon )
3 /zfill ( it will complete the waz table with dummy to Fill the waz table )
4 /zshow ( it will pop up a window with 60 name ( that's why i had to fill before with /zfill )

Now you can click on Copy ( it will copy all in the window to clipboard )
Just paste in Notepad or another.

Repeat for /zzz class1 class2 weap1 weap2 armor world guild ava, and don't forget to make a /zclear before.

If you got an error when you type /zshow that's becoz you forgot the /zfill !

Edit : Ho btw i'm working on something that will maybe save us ^^ i keep you in touch

Edit2 : I forgot the Garkin Tips to change the language in game without having to download the sound :

Type :

/langfr to put the game in French
/langen to put the game in German
/langde to put the game in English

( btw, you can lunch the game in english and type the /langde to play with English Sound and german text

I'm not sure this is necessary, using the file in UTF8 works fine for me (on Windows). May be it is necessary for Mac users?

Notepad++ handles very well this kind of encoding (Encoding / Encoding in UTF-8 without BOM)

Or where did you get the spell names from PTR?

I thought I had found the solution by working with my own dictionary files of the game and the names of the PTS to finally make a complete dictionary EN / DE / FR until I discover incredible mistakes ...

Looking for a little more and meeting more and more mistakes, I realized that our dear friends at Zenimax translators have changed some spell names in French and German ... Surely they are bored and have therefore decided to make our impossible task.

So I decided to stop my research on these translations.

In the end it appears that this is a very bad idea to work like this and it would be preferable to identify skills by ID rather than by name.

I am sharing my last findable file here, that is certainly full of errors :

Die Addon Info Seite ist voller Rechtschreibfehler, sowohl im englischen, als auch im deutschen Teil - das macht als Übersetzer keinen so guten Eindruck..

Aber trotzdem ein super Projekt, vielen Dank für Eure Mühen!

Thanks Zuhligan very helpfull. Still don't understand why you write French and post German Translations (google translation was not very helpfull :P) but I appreciate your work However woud be cool if you use the file I upload now if you want to translate more because its realy hard not to miss anything if we work with 2 different files - I hope I got all spells you posted maybe you can check it? Thanks!

Salutatïon !

Bon comme j'ai lu de l'allemand toute la nuit, je vais écrire en français

Voici le fichier que j'ai fait cette nuit grâce à mon insomnie.

Plusieurs choses :

- Je ne parle pas allemand ( personne n'est parfait ) j'ai donc recopié ce que le jeu me renvoyait
- Je l'ai complété uniquement avec mes persos ( un sorcier 50 et un DK 19 ) donc il manque forcement beaucoup de choses
- Je n'ai pas trié les sorts, donc il y a TOUS les sorts
- je suis arrivé à la limite de ce que je pouvais vous donner du fait que je n'ai que peu de personnages.

Je me suis créé un add-on pour trouver les noms exacts, je pourrai le faire partager si tu le veux, mais saches que je suis un apprenti programmer ^^ Il me faut néanmoins le rendre un poil plus pratique

If you have problems wit the gender assignments (^m;^f...) you can use this to get the exact name of the ability.

/script d(GetSkillAbilityInfo(SKILL_TYPE_CLASS,x,x))

example: /script d(GetSkillAbilityInfo(SKILL_TYPE_CLASS,1,1))
This will get you the skillname of your ultimate in your first skill-tree.
(SKILL_TYPE_CLASS,1,2)) would be your first active ability; and so on.

following are skill-types are used:
SKILL_TYPE_TRADESKILL
SKILL_TYPE_RACIAL
SKILL_TYPE_AVA
SKILL_TYPE_GUILD
SKILL_TYPE_WORLD
SKILL_TYPE_ARMOR
SKILL_TYPE_WEAPON
SKILL_TYPE_CLASS
SKILL_TYPE_NONE

Lets hope this great list will be uses by addon authors to finaly give the german client some working bufftracking.
