EasyMurderToggle  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.0.8
by: carpenteer [More]
Toggle your "Prevent Attacking Innocents" setting on/off with the press of a configurable key, or by using the /murderer command.

I literally whipped this up in a half hour, based on an older project of mine, when someone in guild chat expressed interest in such a feature.
Simple, lightweight, and functional - what more could you want?

1.0.8 - Elsweyr update
1.0.7 - Wrathstone update
1.0.6 - Murkmire update
1.0.5 - Dragon Bones update
1.0.4 - Clockwork City update
1.0.3 - Horns of the Reach update
1.0.2 - Morrowind update
1.0.1 - slight update to keybinding code

LOL, sorry for the insanely long response time - somehow I never noticed comment activity on this add-on. You are quite correct about those lines of code being responsible for the chat dialog - honestly I added that so I would know it's status easily since there really isn't an in-game way of telling until you try to attack someone - or accidentally attack a civilian!

You can comment those lines out, remove them completely, or simply make the string displayed zero length.

Awesome addon! It's very helpful, swapping from DB / Thieving to normal play with just a button. Personally, I'd take out the toggle chat notifications, but that seems like it's solved by just deleting this line of code from the LUA:

if (foo == 1) then
CHAT_SYSTEM:AddMessage("\"Prevent Attacking Innocents\" is enabled!")
else
CHAT_SYSTEM:AddMessage("\"Prevent Attacking Innocents\" is DISABLED!")
end
To bring it in line with the other toggles. Haven't tested yet, as I'm about to go to bed and went to tinker with it only for a moment, but would this be correct?

The mod works perfectly fine, even if it hasn't been updated since April. It also has more features than yours. Just pointing out that another mod already exists with the function your mod does so this mod is redundant.
No, my friend, it hasn't been updated in almost two years. And it's clearly been abandoned. At least this mod has an engaged author with the potential to evolve.
Even if the other mod hasn't been updated in two years, it still works flawlessly without a single error and has more features than this mod.
So whats your point? why the need to act like an idiot? just use the other mod.

Are you a member of some kind of "same mods stupid police"? go complain with MM or TTC, or all the buff tracking mods.

Thank you carpenteer, finally can dismount with light atack without hit npc's
