A Super Useful Gadget Bar v1.42

This is the all new and improved "A Super Useful Gadget Bar".

This addon will place a movable gadget bar on your screen that holds the following:

- Three buttons that you can click in order to teleport to the house of one of your friends, guildmates or fellow ESO players. That's right! You can choose any home as long as it is not your own.
It doesn't even have to be the primary home of your friend or guildmate.
Type /sgbhelp in chat to learn how to set this up. This is especially useful if you want guildmates to set certain homes to teleport to. For example: 1. guildhall, 2. official bar and 3. home of the guildmaster
;
- Your current level and CP rank;
- Current character gold balance;
- Current total bank and character Telvar stones;
- Amount of transmutation crystals;
- Current character Alliance points;
- Current character Writ Vouchers;
- Current character (free) bagspace;
- Current character Mount feed timer;
- Current character percentage of XP left before level up.
- FPS and Latency

In addition to the gadgetbar, the following chat-commands are available.

- /sgbhelp: Displays helptext
- /sgbport 1: Port to House 1
- /sgbport 2: Port to House 2
- /sgbport 3: Port to House 3
- /sgbmoney: show your current valuta balance
- /sgbgui: toggle the gadgetbar
- /sgblvl: get your current level
- /sgbhorse: mount timer
- /sgbgetid: Displays the Unique ID of the house you're in
- /sgbxp: Displays current XP in this level
- /sgbmaxxp: Displays max XP in this level
- /sgbfps: Displays current Frames per Seconds the game is running in
- /sgblatency: Displays current ping latency.

How do you assign houses to the teleport buttons?

1. Travel to the house you want to add
2. Remember the @username of the owner of the house
3. Type in chat: /sgbgetid and remember the house id
4. Go the Settings -> Addons -> A Super Useful Gadget Bar
5. Enter the @username and unique house id
6. Do a /reloadui.
7. Click the button you just added the data for to port to the house
Note: You have to have permissions from the owner to port to the house

RE:

Hi,

Yes that is basically it. Three buttons to port to some of our members homes that serve a specific purpose and some currency values on a bar for convenience.

It might evolve into something more widely usable in the future.

Toolbar

The toolbar itself looks very useful. I know it's potentially a lot of work to strip out the guild features, but the info panel looks very clean. Would definitely use.

I have stripped the guild stuff, made the teleport buttons flexible so you can set your own (other-players) homes to teleport to.

Works for characters on my ESO Gold account, but gives endless error loops on my Summerset account at game start, have to kill game to escape. =(

Code:
user:/AddOns/AoAa/AoAa.lua7: attempt to index a nil value
stack traceback:
user:/AddOns/AoAa/AoAa.lua7: in function '(main chunk)'

AoAaIndicator_Update:3: function expected instead of nil
stack traceback:
AoAaIndicator_Update:3: in function '(main chunk)'

Needs just one more thing ...

Can you please add the ability to turn on/off individual display items on the bar?

RE:

I can't seem to replicate this issue.. Are there any more error messages given? Like maybe a filename and a linenumber?

Re: Needs just one more thing ...

Thanks for the input! I am currently working on this, but it could take some time. I have to redo the part that places the labels on the bar to change them from fixed position to a variable one. It is fixed because of the way the addon was originally written back when it was a Guild-use-only plugin.

Keep an eye out for new versions!

Re: RE:

Updated, yes it appears this add-on only works on the first account it is used on, it may be storing globals without taking in to consideration the specific account logged in to... only my first account does not lock up running this add-on.

Nope, none that i can see in time to capture, is there a debug log? Is it possible that this issue happens when running multiple accounts rather than one, a persistence of variables maybe?

where will the code for player id displayed?

Edit: Nevermind, it's in the debug log viewer add-on, if you have one
