Taos Group Ultimate is a user interface enhancement for The Elder Scrolls Online designed to give players access to informational ultimate data of group members.

Bad and good news -> This addon will be sooner or later discontinued. Please use the Big Brother Taos Group Tools. This addon is still in beta, but it fully integrates Taos Group Ultimate and much more!


What Does It Do?

The addon shows the ultimate status of group members in different styles. All ultimates are grouped in "UltimateGroups", for example all negates are found in the "Negate" UltimateGroup. You can choose your "UltimateGroup" you want to share and can configurate in the Swimlane styles which "UltimateGroup" you want to see. See screenshots for further informations. The addon use the trick to share map pings via group members to share the informations, like other addons already did (f.e. Group DPS)


Change Ultimate you want!

How to change ultimates:
1. Click on separate ultimate icon button (Share Button) and select ultimate you want to share. (Picture 7)
2. In Swimlane lists, click on ultimate icons and select ultimate of swimlane. (Picture 8-9)


LibGroupSocket support & compatible with RaidNotifier

If you want to use this addon with RaidNotifier, you should activate the option "Communication via LibGroupSocket". If this option is off, the addon is not compatible in pair with RaidNotifier.


Note: Best is you install LibGroupSocket as standalone addon. In addon settings of LibGroupSocket you can turn off/on the "Ultimate Handler", which is the same handler as in RaidNotifier.


Translation support needed

The addon supports different translations. At the moment "de" and "en". If you you want help me to translate in other languages like fr, ru or jp, tell me IG PC EU @Taonnor.


Bug Reports: How you can help me?

You can help me with good bug reports. Only reproducable bugs will help. All other bugs needs high effort to find the reason.

Best pattern for me:

1. Steps to reproduce (In simple way like 1, 2, 3)
2. Expected behavior (How do you expect the addon should work)
3. Current behavior (How the addon currently work/Detailed bug description)

Installation

Download Taos Group Ultimate from the link at the top of this article.
Place this zip archive in your ESO addons folder found in My Documents/Elder Scrolls Online/live/Addons/. Mac users should use Documents/Elder Scrolls Online/live/Addons.
Extract the .zip archive into this folder.
You should now have a folder inside Addons named "TaosGroupUltimate" which contains the addon files.
Launch The Elder Scrolls Online. Taos Group Ultimate should be automatically enabled. If not, go to the Add-Ons section of the game menu and make sure that the box beside Taos Group Ultimate is checked.

Re: Sorting option not quite right?

I'm back. I have implemented the sorting as you described, but it could be that it is buggy. I will see what i can do.

Sorting option not quite right?

I submitted a feature request about the way the ultimates are sorted but I wonder if they are actually working right. When you choose the option to keep the ultimates sorted by order when they hit 100% they don't seem to be doing that. The order seems fairly arbitrary.

What I was expecting was that if player b's frost ultimate charges first and then player b's charges next, player b will be at the top of the list and player a will be below him. When player b discharges the ultimate player a will be at the top, followed by everyone else in chronological order established when ultimate charge hits 100%

Would it be possible to have this awesome ultimate work this way?

Starting Version 1.5

I'm currently working on 1.5 now.

Planned Features are:
- Show only when in a group
- Sort by percentage
- Ulti Order

It should be fixed now in both Addons.

Same problem with TAOS AP in last version. If use 1.4.3 and 2.0.2 (for taos ap) - all work fine.

This is ultra spooky. Thanks for that reply. I implemented the related way from to hide/show elements of ZOS but he ends in this crash. I now need an own way for hiding/showing/fading ui elements, this needs a bit time. For workaround please use version 1.4.3.

Thanks! That helped alot. I cannot see the images, they seems broken.

But I think i know the issue, without testing IG.

I have set the compass as parent, so that my ui use the visibility behavior of it. It is an easy way to hide the ui if settings up or map opened and so on. The compass is in boss fights not visible or? Can u confirm this?

To the other Issue with LGS. It must be work with RN latest version. It is only compatible with latest RN and current version 1.4.3. You must activate the Ultimate Handler in LGS settings and separatly turn on the LGS in Group Menu (every time you join group / switch zone / reloads ui). RN turms LGS automatically on if you join a Trial.

EDIT: My Adblock was the reason why i cannot see the images. So as i see the compass is hidden. I will make a fix for this isse ASAP. You can track the bug progress here -> http://www.esoui.com/portal.php?id=210&a=listbugs

1. We can not get LibGroupSocket method of sharing to work. In theory this should be better and what you added for us, yet I have tried 4-person groups all using libGroupSocket with a reloadui and nothing is shared and tried with several people in PvP that were in group and can never get it to work. So this behavior is WITHOUT LibGroupSocket.
2. Two people have tried switching between the various styles to see if it made a different but alas it seems like it doesn't matter the style.

Seems to be any boss fight where they have a dedicated bar. We were running in bloodroot forge and a couple other daily undaunted pledges and it was consistent for all party members. Haven't tried a trial but will tonight and see if it is happening in there as well.
