This addon is for the English client only but I welcome anyone to add in the necessary strings for other languages.

This is a very simple add-on that automatically turns on autoloot when your target is a crafting node such as wood, ore, plants, herbs, glyphs, water, fishing node, or other crafting related container and turns it off if it is anything else.

I enjoy crafting so I have to pick up a lot of ingredients but I don't want endless amounts of junk from tables and containers so I put together CraftAutoLoot. I have been using this for a while now with no problems so now I would like to share. Please, enjoy and I hope you like it.

This add-on does not appear in Minion. I think it is most likely a category (or lack there of) issue.

I noticed that too and i've made sure that it belongs to a category. I will continue investigating.

I installed it manually. Normally the zip contains a single folder named as the addon in root.
zip root->CraftAutoLoot->CraftAutoLoot.txt, CraftAutoLoot.lua

Maybe this is why minion can not read it.

Edit 1:
And you should menion, it is for english client only. Otherwise some people may say "It does not work"
And it is safer to use ZO_PreHookHandler instead of SetHandler, because you never know if others hooking the same control.

Besides that, it's working like a charm.

I realized that too. I am planning to change this to use the actiontypes rather than the actual text. I will get that up shortly.

You ZIP file is still wonky! It contain an extraneous file and 1.0 in another ZIP file.

Updated

I added in a few lines to hide the "Empty" dialog when the reticle is over empty containers. I always thought this was distracting when I am looking for things to loot. Now, also, wonky free! Thank you!

Can you please make that optional? Having things not seem to show up bugs me more, as I can't tell if I've actually in the right place to interact with it or not. It works well, no issues with it that I can see, but it's not for me.

I removed the portion that was hiding the "Empty" text as no one actually asked for it and at least one person didn't like it.

Sorry! Didn't mean to sound ungrateful! I love the rest of the mod, it's just that one part wasn't for me. I think if you make the Empty thing a separate addon, it's got the best of both worlds!

No worries. My original intention was to make it a separate addon but I'm pretty new to Lua and these two addons kept conflicting with eachother. I will look at using an addon options menu instead.

Talking German Strings

Thank you for this little nice addon. I translated the Strings into German and added little new things (autoloot enemys if holding shiftkey down).

I have uploaded it as optional Addon, feel free too use it.

Fishing Bait

This is a great addon, thank you for all your work.

On my system I've modified the original code by adding action == "Take" so that fishing bait in the form of flies etc is collected. This is a small change that you may wish to consider for the mod.

Thank you for the suggestion. I left "Take" out because of many other targets that give that keyword that I didn't want to autoloot but certainly modify it for what meets your needs.
