Arkadius' Trade Tools is a modular framework with the goal to provide traders with useful trading tools and information and to help trade guild masters managing their guilds. Each added module will extend the functionality of ATT in some way. Modules come as its own addons and can therefore simply be deactivated via the addons menu if not needed.

Currently there are the following modules:
  • Sales
    • Visual: Tabbed window
    • Functionality: Collects sales from the player's guilds and displays them as a list which can be filtered in various ways. The information gained from these sales is used in multiple ways
      • Guild rosters are extended by two additional columns, Purchases and Sales, which display the particular volume per guild member and selected time frame
      • Item tooltips are extended by the average price and a graph displaying the price development. The time frame for these calculations (1-30 days) can manually be selected.
      • Item price statistics can be inserted into chat. For non-English clients there is an option to post the statistics in English.
      • When browsing guild stores, listings also display the average price of the given item, so the player can see, if it's over- or underpriced

      Sales are stored up to 30 days, depending on per-guild user settings. Most features can be enabled or disabled in the user settings. Sales scan rate can be customized allowing sales to show up in nearly real time.

  • Purchases
    • Visual: Tabbed window
    • Functionality: Saves purchases the player makes from guild traders and displays them as a list. This module may especially be useful for resellers to remember what they payed for a particular item. Purchases can be saved up to 30 days.

  • Statistics
    • Visual: Tabbed window
    • Functionality: Allows other modules to send in statistic information which is then displayed as an assembled list. (currently only used by Sales)

    Toggle the visiblity of the main window

Let me elaborate on your reply: since I have my @name "pre-inserted" in the first tab, it would be nice to have it in the second as well, so I have just to hit "ENTER" to filter data on my account.

Thumbs up Suggestions

Hello,

I haven't found some things that I really loved in MM:

- My weekly sales total. It's a MUST HAVE for most guilds that impose a minimum amound of sales a week.

- Suggested price x quantity. It's cool to know my item average value is 187, but what if I have to sell 173 of it? MM has a little panel showing the multiplication.

- Suggested price: I don't know why, but MM always pre-inserted my last week sale price for a given item, with ATT I have to enter it all the times.

- Material costs: very useful when selling potions and foods, so I know if I am earning money selling made potions / foods or if I would earn more by selling the separate components.

If these functionalities exist, please point me to how to see / enable them, because I can't.

I'm assuming newerThanTimeStamp is usually user set? Is there a variable of yours I can pull so that there won't be any discrepancies?

Yes. You can use

function ArkadiusTradeToolsSales:GetAveragePricePerItem(itemLink, newerThanTimeStamp)

This function returns the average price for the given item link based on sales that happened after newerThanTimeStamp, or all sales if the time stamp is set to 0.

Except it doesn't have MM's extended guild roster info, which is pretty much the only thing that prevents me, as a Guildmaster, from waving goodbye to MM forever. Sad times.

Right. Even though they do basically same, the coding is different. The login might be slightly longer than MM, based on the amount of loaded sales and guilds u are in, but the ingame performance is way better. u can even watch sale sof your guilds nearly in livestream without performance issues
I see, thanks for the kind reply! I've been using this add-on for a few days now, the character startup and overall performance is better.

Right. Even though they do basically same, the coding is different. The login might be slightly longer than MM, based on the amount of loaded sales and guilds u are in, but the ingame performance is way better. u can even watch sale sof your guilds nearly in livestream without performance issues

Turn Off Arkadius Tooltips on Bound Items?

First, keep up the great work!

Second, is there a way to turn off the Arkadius tooltips on bound items that can't be traded in the guild stores?
