After updating to Summerset. Pet Health does not show up at all in the addons menu. Yes I have checked 'use out of date addons'.

Summerset update. On loging in no there's a server message that your add-on does not work with the current game version. Please make it play nice? Thanks!

Re: Re: Re: Watch the video

Playing on NA - PC

My UI looks probably different because i use DARKUI addon, and a very old one addon called Pawksickles that change the fonts of the game (very helpfull for my eyes) with Pchat.

Well its possible that some addons originally created for EU langage got some need of adaptation for NA, but i think that all depends probably on how the author feels for keeping it up to date or not.

I used to create myselfs some UI for Lotro for years, and something that can start as fun can became very hard sometimes and we can not just keep going on and we let it go. Same for some addons.

Among other things, it seems to me that the EU megaserver does not have as many bugs and design flaws in the Host software as we frequently discover on the NA megaserver. For example, the Lorebooks feature seems to be much different and much better on the EU server, and Ayantir's Lorebooks add-on is developed for the EU megaserver. I have reason to suspect that ts output displayed by the NA megaserver is not necessarily the same as its output displayed by the EU megaserver. .....

For better or for worse, I have never learned how to make a video of what happens while I am playing the game. I don't have any video utility software to record the display screen window in which the game output is displayed. All I ever do is take screenshots. Sometimes I edit them with MS Windows Paint.

I'm not a video-oriented person. I read and write. Photographs are useful for illustrating text. I cannot think of anything which I have learned by watching a video. Of course, I watch movies (cinema) in theaters or sometimes with television. Although I like documentary films, I prefer live drama or comedy performances.

Re: Watch the video

This is the part that you do not see clearly in the movie.

If you want your health pet bar to show the values of the hp, you need first to select what i have pointed in the picture. This will show the values on the bar pet, but this is not makes the bar show or not. (see explanation below)

Then to finalize the choice, you can use the chat commands as show on the picture below :

The commands are toggles one, so if by using it, you realise that it is not what you want, use it again to obtain the right one :

/Pethealthcombat will only show the health bar if the pet is active and a fight start. As soon as a fight is over the health bar will vanish / if you toggle it again, then the bar will always be active, never hiding.

/Pethealthvalues is the command that will work once you will have select in the section combat (1st picture) the option you want. If you do not want to see any value, then put it on off in the section combat

the two others chat commands are clear enough i think

Nonetheless, the health bar for my familiars are displayed, but not because I deliberately chose any option in the ESC > Settings > Combat menu

FYI: ordinarily, a health bar is displayed only while a familiar is "outdoors", regardless of combat. When my character enters a delve, a dungeon, or a Homestead, the health bar disappears entirely. (Note that this occurs after the game software shows a "loading screen" for the "instance".) The bar might be displayed eventually while the character and familiar are in the delve, dungeon, or other "indoor" location. However, it is unclear as to why it re-appears, insofar as that does not always occur in the context of entering or exiting combat. Most likely, it will never be displayed again, even after the character exits the instance.

Reloading the UI sometimes restores the health bar while the character is in the instance, but reloading the UI after the character exits the instance has always restored the bar (re-logging the character also restores it in that context). Also, after transition into an instance, I've tried dismissing the familiar, then re-summoning the familiar, and sometimes that restores the health bar. But there is nothing that I have tried which always restores the health bar while the character is in an instance. Go figure.
