Description
Have you ever been in a situation where you need more skill points but you have no idea where to get them? Well today is your lucky day! Urich's Skill Point Finder provides a graphical interface showing all of the skill points you have (and haven't) earned throughout the entire game. You can show or hide the window by binding a hotkey or by entering the slash command. Slash command information is below.

Slash Commands
  • /uspf - Show or hide the USPF window.
  • /uspf help - Display help information in the chat window.

Known Issues/Complications
  1. There was reportedly some issue in the past with public dungeon group boss events not properly awarding skill points upon completion. This may result in the USPF UI showing more skill points than you actually have. If this is the case for you, it means that you were shorted a skill point by the game.
  2. You may have un-counted skill points if you did not do a full re-spec before curing vampire-ism or werewolf-ism.
  3. The Folium Discognitum is a scroll that awards two skill points on use. Because the Folium is a scroll and not a book, it is not possible to determine if if you have earned those points besides comparing the number of earned skill points with the number of expected skill points + 2. See items 1 and 2 if the Folium is not displaying properly for you.
  4. This addon has been designed in English. There are differences in the skills and interfaces across different languages. This addon should show accurate point information because it utilizes quest IDs and achievement IDs but it is possible for there to be minor discrepancies in the totals. If you have a discrepancy and are able to accurately identify the cause, please let me know via PM or in-game whisper.

It's being changed in the next update which will be very soon. At some point there will be menu options which will include the table font selections.

EDIT: The new version is live. It retains the antique headers and uses MEDIUM_FONT for the data lines.

For those who dislike the antique font...

What I did was edit the USPF.xml file that comes with this addon. Just do a Find and Replace, replacing all instances of ANTIQUE_FONT with MEDIUM_FONT

it has a Subfilter to only show skillpoint quests you are missing and its working in german so there has to be a way. http://cdn-eso.mmoui.com/preview/pvw3524.png

Thanks for the feedback. I'll look at the font and consider adding some options/alternatives in a future release. As for the missing skill points, that's because the quests are identified by quest name in English. The public dungeons, skyshards, levels, and other non-quest points are based on achievements and other API based function calls. I'm looking into connecting several of the quests to achievements but the issue is that not every skill point quest has a related achievement.

Nice addon, but coud you use a non Decorative font for most of the text? maybe leave it for the headlines but the rest is hard to read.. just use the default Sans Serif font the rest of the UI uses please

Got some ideas if you don't mind.

Would be nice to have Ascending/Descending sorting by A-Z, Alliance sorting or just Alliance sorting for the zones. Like alliance names on the top with different colour then zone names. Just to somehow make it faster to find the region we want. Also some kind of LibGPS or what is it called to show on the window which region we are in.

Also somehow setup colours for skyshards/skillpoints. Red/red for progressing is barely visible. Red/red is ok if we don't have any skyshard/skillpoints progression then white/red or yellow/red can be when we have atleast 1 skyshard/skillpoint progression, white/white or green/green when we have them all.

Also some window scaling, change size would be very nice. Maybe option to disable part of the window. I know these are very hard/long things to do so.

Keep up the good work anyway.

Thanks! Yep, those are in the background to be used to set the points. Just need a way to show them and achievement cards for the other things.

The Folium has been a source of nightmares for me with this addon because the damn thing doesn't actually exist from the API's perspective. I am showing one too many points on my main and I've not been able to determine why. It's almost like I completed something but I was not awarded the point. Do you have a source of info for the public dungeon group events bug? Maybe it's related.

All in all, my main focus was to try to make this more of a checklist for skill point sources than a compiler for total skill points. I think it does that fairly well but this API...
Yea don't worry too much about those 'special' skillpoints.

As for a source, well, it's really old so I have no idea where I might have read it. I think ZOS stated at the time that the bugged skillpoints were awarded when they fixed said group events but I seriously doubted that at the time and this only makes me doubt that even more.

The main thing is the awesome checklist of quests/zones/thingies you can get more skillpoints from. Which is just, well, amazing!

Make sure you're using /uspf with no space between the slash and the command (as is the case for every slash command in game). You can also consider keybinding it to make it easier to access. Finally, make sure it's listed in your controls, even if you're not going to keybind it. This will ensure the addon is active. Let me know if one of these don't solve it for you.
