This actually still works, though probably best to move to Wyk's framework

Wykkyd's Framework has an option in it that does the same thing. You guys might want to try it out if this one doesn't get updated.

It worked the first time...

The day I downloaded your mod, it functioned flawlessly. I have not added any mobs since, but it has not kept the text from fading after that first perfect log in. I do not have any other mods that change chat functionality.

I know it's not a great deal to go on, but still, I hope this is helpful in chasing down any bugs or conflicts.

It doesn't work for me either. The chat window fades with inactivity regardless of this mod's active state.
Interesting. Do you have any other chat-related mods installed? (The fact that you receive any output at all from the command I pasted means that NoFade did modify the chat window's settings at some point - so I'm wondering if another addon is overwriting NoFade's changes.)
Sorry for the late reply -- yes, I probably do have something else messing with chat windows. I have 46 installed mods (and am author of two of them). I'm not using ChatMultiWindow though, like Tamha.

Just wanted to let you know it doesn't seem to function properly with ChatMultiWindow. The other mod is probably overriding this one. It seemed to work fine when it was my only chat mod.

EDIT: I went ahead and asked the other mod maker if they would implement no fading functionality in their mod, since it would probably be easier to make the change in that mod than to adjust yours to recognize multiple chat windows.

Can you run this command in your chat window and tell me if it outputs anything:

Code:
/script d(NoFade.touched)
