EmoteToy  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 5
by: Lemon King [More]
TESO UI Version 100003 breaks support for EmoteToy so I'll no longer be updating the addon.

A very simple addon that enables easy use of NPC emotes with standard emote phrases.
There are 68 newly added emotes and you can access them all with the command with the newly added emotes below or using /e###.
/e### command range is between 1 - 254.

All emotes can be displayed in chat with /et_list.

Question /et_list

will this also feature the normal emotes as well?
would be nice to not to have to type /playdead all the time

Original emotes should be included.

Emotetoy

I DL'd the files and put them into my addon folder, but nothing is working. I'm doing something wrong, can you let me know what folder the files need to go into?

Thanks.

Did you extract the zip file into its own subfolder?

Will everyone see me do these emotes even if they do not have the addon? Or only people with the addon will be able to see these emotes? Thanks!

This stuff is new to me and please understand I am an idiot on top of that. So, I'm clear...

There are 254 total emotes?
Then each one can be activated by typing /e1 through /e254?

And the real stupid question... How does one know what number goes to what emote?

Thanks for all the work. I get more excited every day. Especially with things like this.

/e1 - /e254 allows you to have a shorter shorthand command.
I listed the full list of legible names on the download page.

Is there any hope of getting emotes for the sitting in chairs animation that NPCs do?

not working

I can see the add-on in my Add-ons list in game, but none of the commands are working.

[UPDATE] The download had a -4 at the end of the name. When it was unzipped the folder was the same name. I renamed the folder and took off the -4 at the end so the name was just EmoteToy and it is working now.

This addon is a tremendous amount of fun!

Will you be adding even more emotes that the NPCs use, such as the 'coin flip', 'playing with fire', or the stand where you have your hands crossed behind your back?

Many thanks and keep up the great work!

RIP EmoteToy. Thanks for your work on this.

"The Emote API has been changed so that it no longer allows emotes that didn't have slash commands to be used by the player."

Any idea why they did this? Was the only addon I was looking forward to using TBH.

It's not like it gave anyone any special cheat powers...
