Dominoid's Immersive Things  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.6.0
by: dominoid [More]
New for ESO 1.6.X:
Introducing "Explore in First. Fight in Third."

Dominoid's Immersive Things will automagically move your player character in and out of first and third person as combat occurs. There is a settable delay when moving back into first person so that if you are in a mob intensive area, you won't "yo-yo" between the two perspectives as combat flows.

Technical Note: There is no check for what perspective you are in so my system tries to keep track of it behind the scenes. It is possible for the system to get confused. Known issues are when picking locks or talking to NPCs before the camera has transitioned back to first person. If you ever find the system "reversed" in its perspective simply manually change perspectives ("V" key by default) and it will work correctly again.

Original Description:

With the arrival of FaceFX, I would like to offer you a way to immerse yourself in the game a bit more. All options can be toggled on and off using the in-game add-on setting menu.

The initial release of Dominoid's Immersive Things contains and merges three long-abandoned add-ons and gets them to work together in harmony just in time for Update 5.

UX Dialogue

No Stealth Text

Ak0's No Written Dialogue simply yet elegantly removed all text from the dialog window to allow you to better take in what the NPC was saying. This included a keybind that allowed you to toggle this feature on and off.

UX Dialogue added number key shortcuts and contextual icons to your dialog window and allowed you to replay the spoken dialog the NPC had said.

No Stealth Text very simply removed the text "Hidden" from your screen while sneaking.

Dominoid's Immersive Things will continue to add small yet significant changes to the way your UI presents game information. Do you have any requests?

Cool I love this, but need help!

I saw this posted on MizzBizz's youtube page, and I absolutely love it. I downloaded it tonight, but it doesn't seem to be functioning at all, I still have to hit "V" to change perspective. It appears to have downloaded correctly to the right folder and everything, but am I missing a setting in the game or something?

Feature Request

A lot of the time when NPCs speak, they will have a long pause between paragraphs. When the dialogue is hidden, this pause can sometimes be confused for an ending. Then, we'll move on in the conversation or leave the conversation only to hear them just barely start to say something else and miss out on it.

A small QoL feature I'd like to see is some sort of indication of how much speaking is going to occur in an NPCs dialogue when the text is hidden. I think a number or, more aesthetically pleasing, multiple § or ¶ symbols next to their name indicating how many paragraphs of speech they currently have would help alleviate this issue, letting us know that there will likely be a pause in their speech.

Text visible:
Sir Hughes
It's a sensitive matter. We've intercepted secret messages from someone inside the castle.

My hope is that a little research in the library might reveal who this is.

1. Alright. I can check the library.
2. Goodbye.

Text hidden:
🔊 Sir Hughes §§
1. Alright. I can check the library.
2. Goodbye.

Hi I'm really enjoying your addon so thank you for that! With that said would it be possible to import some of the dialog tweaks from (http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info6...ate6.html#info).

Specifically things like graying out goodbye and centering the NPC name.
