AP Meter  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 2.0.4
by: ghostbane [More]
Dependencies: LibAddonMenu LibChatMessage

v2.0.0

The Modern theme and Classic theme

AP Meter aims to provide as much tooling as possible for the casual Cyro PVPer, while at the same time educating new players on how to achieve more AP.

AP Meter is now themable in v2 and is launching with two themes. The brand new Modern and the previous design ( now with animation ) Classic. More themes and requests will be added very soon.

Demo of the Panel:

Session Panel
More details to your session, giving you a breakdown on your ap gains, your session time, ApH, etc. This can be accessed by clicking the icon (Classic) on the right hand side of the meter, or clicking the "MENU" button (Modern) or keybinded ( reccomended! )

Torte, Delve and Pelinal Scroll Reminder
A soft and gentle reminder that your AP/Pelinal Buff has near ran out

Ticklist

A brand new feature in v2, track were you are currently registered for a Defence Tick. Whenever the conditions expire, this visual list will update.

In-Chat Notifications
Notifies you of your AP gains, and the its source. Eg. Defence Ticks, Captures etc

Tick Range notifier
The meter will display "X Range" if you are in an area capable of providing a tick. The message will disappear as soon as you leave the area. Depending on the theme, such as Modern, the meter may have additional effects like glowing.

Set an AP Goal
You can set an AP goal to work towards, just a handy reference to hit the figure you set out for. Be it to overtake someone on the boards, your next rank, or for fruitlessly buying AP vendor bags. Can be set within the sessions Report Card

Themes
Modern
Classic

( more to come )

How to use Themes

From the settings there is a dropdown list with the available themes. Making a choice from this list will update the preview on the right-hand side. You will need to click the button underneath ( Activate Theme ) to perform a reloadui to confirm your selection for best performance.

This is hopefully fixed in 2.0.3 which just released.
That's fixed it thanks.

Thanks for reporting this, it was indeed only applying to specific categories.

2.0.4 is pushed up which should hopefully resolve this.

Yes, that is a noted issue from the rewrite and will be fixed again in a upcoming version.

Are you on the latest version? In cursor mode I can move it just fine in Cyrodill. ( Pressing the . key activates cursor mode if you have not tried that yet )
I have version 1.8.2 for 9.0.0 and the HUD vanishes in free cursor mode (pressing . to release the mouse cursor).
Other addons' UI elements stay visible and are movable as intended.
AP Meter's HUD even stays invisible after returning to the "regular" playing mode (without free cursor) until I open and close a menu (map, character sheet, inventory ...)

Dependent libraries are installed and I even tried to reinstall AP Meter.
I think I know why this is happening for you, I made a very small change and pushed it up in 1.8.3 hoping to address this for you. ( I'm assuming this will fix it, it is a bizarre thing as I cannot replicate it in the same conditions )

If it still doesn't work, v2 of AP Meter is releasing in the next 2-3 days which will remove this issue.
It still won't work. It keeps hiding when releasing the cursor. I'm looking forward to v2.
v2 released today, hopefully you will have no problems with it.
It‘s working fine now.
Thanks for your help and work. 😊
