I like the addon. It fills the need I have and looks really clean. I installed it and reloaded ui and it worked, but hen I traveled to my home after that I got an error. The error appears on each zone change and makes it so the windows doesn't load in the crafting tables. I tried reloadui and that gave a stacktrace with two more listings so that is the one I posted below.

Edit: I disabled it, reloaded the ui, re-enabled the addon and reloaded the ui and so far it is working. I've done all of this, including installing the addon through minion, without restarting the game so maybe that is part of it? Either way, it seems to be working for now.

Checking type on argument journalQuestIndex failed in GetJournalQuestName_lua
stack traceback:

Thanks for your feedback. I'll see what I can do.

I can keep switching but if someone were to have a master writ active for an extended period of time, this could get annoying real fast.

Is it possible to check which writ in the drop down list is being updated and make sure it maintains focus?
Hey there, i will work on this to fix.

All I had to do was dismiss the error and the game continued on as if nothing happened. Not sure what is going on, thought you might want to take a look.
Thanks for pointing this out. I have added a bug fix to prevent this UI error when completing a Master writ. I have reproduce the issue , added a code fix and then completed 3 Master Writs without error now. Please let me know if this doesn't resolve the issue for you.
I have a Master Writ in the works. Just need to get a few more tempers. Will let you know what happens when it does get turned in. Might be a few days depending upon how fast I get tempers from deconstruction and daily writs.

Hello Grimm13,
Glad you find Crafting Writ Assistant useful

Based on the screenshot you provided, it doesn't appear the error is coming from Crafting Writ Assistant. Errors or bugs from CWA will have a path like "/AddOns/CraftingWritAssistant/CraftingWritAssistant.lua" referenced in the error box but I don't see this in your screenshot. I use CWA for each writ type on 6 of my toons each day and haven't seen this one yet. Have you recently installed other addons that leverage your recipe or provisioning details? You might be getting those from another addon or from the root game itself. CWA does look at the ingredient requirements to make recipes for provisioning but doesn't make any calls to the games API for ZO_Provisioner:RefreshRecipeList() which is the root of your error.

Please keep me posted on what you find out. hopefully you don't continue to experience this. I am happy to help troubleshoot if you can provide more screenshots of what master writs you think could be the cause of this. Good luck and thanks for using CWA
Okay, looks like it was the Writ Worthy addon, removed it and not seen the issue yet. Seemed to happen with the Provisioning Master Writs. Will update you if it happens again.

Thank you for your help.
no problem!

Yep, just tested and it's still happening. I deleted the whole addon folder and manually re-downloaded and reinstalled just to make sure it wasn't Minion missing the update, but after signing back into the game, the problem persists.

To test I grabbed the writs in Craglorn, then ported to Rawl'kha, then back, and upon activating any crafting station the popup list of writ objectives was totally scrambled with other things in my quest log.
OOPS my bad, Thanks for the detailed explanation. Apparently I somehow "undid" my changes to fix this issue because I remember added the EVENT_PLAYER_ACTIVATED event to Reload the Journal.. anyways its fixed NOW. I tested and reproduced it with the way you explained and added the code to resolve it and it did see it on the next toon I used the same steps on.. so I think we are good now. Let me know if you find out otherwise! thanks again
