Dungeon Tracker  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.06
by: Phinix [More]
Dungeon Tracker
(Formerly Dungeon Levels)

This is a simple but powerful addon to add completion information for dungeons and delves to the tooltip for their pins on the game map (and now to the Group Finder tooltips as well). For each character you can enable or disable tracking. When a character is tracked their achievement progress is automatically logged and you will see their completion status in the list of names on the tooltips.

NEW: Added option to show completion of Hard Mode, Timed, and No Death achievements.
NEW: Added missing dungeon description text Zenimax created to the specific dungeon finder tooltips in a style-conscious way.

There are many options and information you can track:
  • Show a list of character dungeon/achievement completion status on the Group Finder selection list tooltips.
  • Show a list of character dungeon/achievement completion status (normal and/or veteran) on dungeon or trial map pin tooltips.
  • Show a list of character Group Challenge skillpoint completion status on delve map pin tooltips.
  • Show character completion of the achievement to defeat all bosses on delve map pin tooltips.
  • Show current character progress towards the meta achievement to complete all dungeons/delves in that faction.
  • Set a separate custom color for names of characters that have and have not completed tracked achievements.
  • Name lists are automatically alphabetized, centered, and wrapped within the tooltip bounds.

Known limitations:

You will need to actually discover a dungeon/trial/delve in order to see the information in the tooltip. Addons like Destinations that show map markers for places you haven't found are not yet supported, until I can work out with the authors a way to make their custom tooltip information available to other addons to manipulate.

No, but Destinations should be able to do that for you.

Possibly, I'll have to look at it. But if not then it should at least be possible to toggle highlighting the ones your current character hasn't done yet in the list.
It would be fine too!

Idea

And is that possible to add a tab to the map which shows only the dungeons and can easily jump to them on the map? I don't know where all the dungeons located, so it would be very handy feature.

The option to show the icons for Hard Mode, Times, and No Death achievements can be turned off individually in the addon settings, of course.

New option: Show dungeon description in LFG.

Added a cool new feature in 1.04 to show the game's dungeon description text on the LFG tooltips. I'm not sure why ZOS chose not to display this information being as they went out of their way to create the text for it, so I added it and an option to turn it back off if you prefer the blank decoration images.

Thanks to samyjwv, Jagmas, et al. for helping out with the temp fixes.

I added a d(data.rawName .. " - " .. data.id) after line 448 and did a mouseover each entry in the finder and data.id does appear to be constant like the lfgIndex they removed was (can confirm all the new indexes previously posted), so it should be good to stick with using it. Updating the main download now. Not sure about EU vs. NA clients though, so if anyone on EU wants to verify after I upload the fixes that would be great.

Haven't had a lot of time for ESO of late but will be coming back to work on various things.

A big thank you to xXReefer_MadnessXx who walked me through step by step via email on how to implement the quick fix by samyjwv. The directions that follow were provided by Reefer.

To start xXReefer_MadnessXx suggests using a program like Notepad++ to complete the task.

From there you can open the file DungeonTracker.lua located in your documents folder at C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\DungeonTracker (on windows 10).

In that file you will go to line 448 in notepad ++ (it has the option to go directly to it) and change it to say "local lfgIndex = data.id". Once done save and then close the file.

Next go to C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\DungeonTracker\bin (on windows 10) and open AchievementsDB.lua and search for "DTAddon.FinderNormalIndex"

Once you have found it highlight everything for that list and veteran list and replace with what was included by samyjwv (added below)

Code:
---------
DTAddon.FinderNormalIndex = {
[2] = {svI = 16}, -- Fungal Grotto I
[18] = {svI = 17}, -- Fungal Grotto II
[3] = {svI = 21}, -- Spindleclutch I
[316] = {svI = 22}, -- Spindleclutch II
[4] = {svI = 2}, -- Banished Cells I
[300] = {svI = 3}, -- Banished Cells II
[5] = {svI = 11}, -- Darkshade Caverns I
[308] = {svI = 12}, -- Darkshade Caverns II
[7] = {svI = 14}, -- Elden Hollow I
[303] = {svI = 15}, -- Elden Hollow II
[6] = {svI = 26}, -- Wayrest Sewers I
[22] = {svI = 27}, -- Wayrest Sewers II
[8] = {svI = 1}, -- Arx Corinium
[10] = {svI = 6}, -- City of Ash I
[322] = {svI = 7}, -- City of Ash II
[9] = {svI = 9}, -- Crypt of Hearts I
[317] = {svI = 10}, -- Crypt of Hearts II
[11] = {svI = 13}, -- Direfrost Keep
[13] = {svI = 23}, -- Tempest Island
[12] = {svI = 25}, -- Volenfell

[293] = {svI = 19}, -- Ruins of Mazzatun
[288] = {svI = 28}, -- White-Gold Tower
}

DTAddon.FinderVeteranIndex = {
[299] = {svI = 16}, -- Veteran Fungal Grotto I
[312] = {svI = 17}, -- Veteran Fungal Grotto II
[315] = {svI = 21}, -- Veteran Spindleclutch I

[313] = {svI = 20}, -- Veteran Selene's Web
[314] = {svI = 24}, -- Veteran Vaults of Madness
[296] = {svI = 8}, -- Veteran Cradle of Shadows
[268] = {svI = 18}, -- Veteran Imperial City Prison
[294] = {svI = 19}, -- Veteran Ruins of Mazzatun
[287] = {svI = 28}, -- Veteran White-Gold Tower
}

Save the file, close it and enjoy having dungeon tracker back.

Morrowind Support

Hi all. I came to this add-on fairly late, but like it a lot. Is anyone actively supporting it, or is it sadly now dead?
