FCO Craft Filter

IF YOU EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS OR ERRORS PLEASE LOGOFF FROM THE GAME AND DELETE YOUR SAVEDVARIABLES FILENAME "FCOCraftFilter.lua"!

Application is Fast API ready

This little addon will add buttons to the crafting stations top left side which will easily filter your items located at your bank from the crafting station's panel.
It will distinguish the different crafting stations (blacksmithing, clothing, woodworking, enchanting) and their different panels.

Supported panels are:
-Deconstruction
-Improvement
-Enchanting creation
-Enchanting extraction


With 1 click on the button you can show all/ only show / hide the items located at your bank.
If the symbol at the button is a gray items symbol all items (inventory + bank) are shown.
If the icon is a gray bank symbol the items at your bank at not shown.

This must be enabled in the sttings:
If the icon is a smaller, white bank symbol ONLY the items at your bank are shown.

A tooltip is always telling you what will happen if you click the icon again and what is currently shown.

A settings panel is able to change the language and save the settings acocunt wide or for each character,
and enable the extra "medium" filter to ONLY show the bank items.

This addon was coded upon request (ingame).

When I goto a craft station it's not showing any items in my inventory (hiding bank items). If i unhide bank items I then see everything.

Try to replace the whole function "FCOCraftFilter_FilterCallbackFunctionDeconstruction" beginning at line 332 with this new one:

That fix you posted isn't 100% correct. It works to show inventory without bank items but some odd reason if you select bank only you end up with a blank window.

Hi and thanks for telling me.
Did you enable the FCOCraftFilter to only show bank items at the Wood crafting stations?
I'll see if I'm able to reproduce the problem.

Anyone else here noticed this?
The addon should not interfer with any vendor, especially not the buy items tab...

I cannot rebuild this error at all, sorry
Any more hints how to get the error/behaviour? Are you really sure it wasn't any other addon active which led to this behaviour?

Filtering on Furniture Vendors?

Just a heads up - I was doing the initial housing quests on a couple of characters and kept running into an issue where the home furnishings vendor was showing no items to sell. I kept going to different vendors, and sometimes they would have items and most of the time not. Finally I looked at my add ons, and disabling FCO Craft Filter made the problem go away completely.

Not exactly sure *how* FCO Craft Filter could be interfering with these vendors, but I thought I'd leave a comment to see if this is reproducible by anyone else.

Sorry it is not really possible
But have a look at FCO ItemSaver.
You are able to mark items for research (automatically for unknown traits of you install the addon ResearchAssistant too) and it will slow you the items marked at the research popup.
Items ca be saved so you don't accidently destroy or sell them. And you are able to filter and search this items in your inventories (great addition to the addon AdvancedFilters as it supports the filter plugins).

FCOIS got many more options and anti-destroy/mail/trade/sell functions.

This has been a really useful addon of late -- I've been storing a lot of items in the bank I don't want to accidentally deconstruct, and this is stopping that. But is it possible to add filtering out bank items in the research tabs as well? I'm finding my reasearch tabs, especially on some of my lower level characters, are showing lots of researchable items from the bank, making it nearly impossible to find the ones in inventory which I actually *want* to research...
