MassDeconstructor deconstructs items based on your filter settings. These filters are:
If you're not using item saver addons please be carefull and check add-on options. It's also worth getting into the habit of locking items you want to keep! Mass Deconstructor's default options:
  • Deconstruct items in bank: off
  • Deconstruct bound items: off
  • Deconstruct ornate items: off
  • Deconstruct set pieces: off
  • Deconstruct intricate items: off
  • Deconstruct crafted items: off
  • Maximum item quality to deconstruct: 4 (Epic/Purple)

Mass refine is not working

For the past 5 weeks mass refine in Mass Deconstructor has not been working, I have the most recent update, tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still unable to Mass Refine. I can still deconstruct just fine however.

Does anyone have a work around for this or been experiencing this?

Yeah, I was getting the "next" slot twice before actually handling items. I suspect that for some people this wouldn't have mattered since they'd have something other than a refine-able crafting mat in the first slot (say, alchemy or provisioning).

While trying to debug it I was putting together a minimal example of code to expose the bug I was going to report to ZOS, but it never skipped rough oak. And rough oak was the first in the list every time.

And that is why it's useful to prepare a new example to expose a bug when reporting a bug in someone else's product

I seem to be experiencing issues with mass deconstruction at several Jewelry stations. I get an error that looks a bit like this...

Yeah, something's not going right. Looking into it today.

Edit: turns out that ornate is flagged through new system while intricate is still (sometimes) flagged through the old system. I'm not sure what the details are but I think I have a fix. Off to do some dungeons so I can gather more intricate and ornate drops.
Intricate dropped as rewards for daily crafting writs doesn't auto-deconstruct now, checked several times.

Now looking into the Rough Oak thing. This looks like it might be a bug, so i'm preparing a sample AddOn to send to ZOS as part of the bug report.

I'll get a fix out as soon as I have a stash of ornate jewellery. I think I know what the problem is, and it appears to be a simple fix I forgot to check for the ornate jewellery trait when looking for ornate items, and there is a different "ornate" trait for weapons, armour and jewellery.

How old is your FCO Item Saver add-on? Check that it's up to date!

I've put in a check to make sure that FCOIS has the method I want to use. See if you still get this problem.

While FCO item saved items should be filter out i just lost few worthy marked as dynamic icon that had prevent deconstruction turned on. Also seem it works outsixe of decon ui so doesnt respect fco filter buttons either.
