MassDeconstructor deconstructs items based on your filter settings. These filters are:
If you're not using item saver addons please be carefull and check add-on options. Default options:

  • Deconstruct bound items = false
  • Deconstruct ornate items = false
  • Deconstruct set pieces = false
  • Deconstruct intricate items = false
  • Maximum item quality to deconstruct = 4 (Epic)

This is my first add-on, I tested a lot but still may be some bugs or conflict with another add-ons. So please let me know if there is a bug or something...

Clockwork City!

Welcome to Clockwork City!

Our factotums have been hard at work rerouting the radial dissectors and optimising the paradetic flow. Exodromals can now enjoy the speed and efficacy of Clockwork City's best reprocessors!
  • Error with not deconstructing stacks of items correctly is resolved
  • Experimental Mass Refine feature available (tick the box in settings)
  • Items flagged for deconstruction through FCOIS will be deconstructed, this takes precedence over other FCOIS flags

Whoops. So an update:
  1. My ESO-playing computer died a week ago
  2. The dev version of Mass Deconstructor will deconstruct stuff marked by FCOIS regardless of other flags (I want to change this so locked items and items marked for other FCOIS flags will not be touched, and a message pointing out the conflicting flags will be issued)
  3. I have a fix for a bug I introduced in previous changes where stacks of items would have one item deconstructed, leaving the rest of the stack behind

As for interaction with FCOIS, I expect the rules to be:
  1. Any item marked as locked will not be touched
  2. Any item marked with "save for " FCOIS flags will not be touched
  3. Any item marked with FCOIS deconstruction flag but no other FCOIS flags will be deconstructed regardless of usual Mass Deconstructor rules (sets, quality, etc)
  4. Mass Deconstructor will issue a warning if conflicting flags are detected (e.g. FCOIS or base game "locked" and FCOIS flagged for deconstruction)
  5. Finally, the normal Mass Deconstructor rules regarding sets, item quality, etc will apply

But for now, I am waiting for parts for my broken computer.

Upcoming Changes

What I hope to accomplish this weekend:
  • Resolve issue where deconstruction will sometimes leave things behind (due to mixup between item count and stack count)
  • Add more cooperation with FCO to deconstruct items marked for decon
  • Add ability to set verbose messages on or off

If you know of other addons that similarly mark things, let me know? I don't have much exposure to the wealth of addons available.

Mass Deconstructor will honour "do not deconstruct" flag from FCO. I will investigate adding this support (to deconstruct items marked for decon by FCO) and try to have an update out this weekend.

By chat messages do you mean the list of items to deconstruct?

I will get that done this weekend.

Mass Refine For The Win!

I haven't tried the latest version yet, only read the changelog, but I already want to say a huge THANK YOU for the Mass Refine function, it's an absolutely awesome addition!

UPD: Tried it, and it works just fine. There was a couple of issues:
1. The option to add a keybind is missing from Controls>Addon Keybinds>Mass Deconstructor;
2. I get a "You can't deconstruct an item that you are wearing" when Masss Refining at a Clothier's Station. You may want to look at this one first;
3. Mass Refine button doesn't work if I press it while not in the Refine tab (say, Creation or Improvement).

Otherwise everything is working as intended.

Exclamation Horns of the Reach

I've released a new version of Mass Deconstructor for Horns of the Reach.

This version also has an beta mass refine feature. Please try it out (you'll need to tick the "Mass Refine (beta)" setting) and let me know if it's working, destroying your life, or whatever.

Mass Refining

Mass Refining is in progress. Currently I'm watching my character refine 10,000 rubedite ore.

I'm hoping to have it ready this weekend, and it will be an opt-in facility that will be quite brain dead:
  1. It will only refine stuff from your crafting bag
  2. It will refine everything without asking

I'm sure I remember some refined materials being bind-on-pickup, but I can't remember which ones.

I have added basic support and tested it on one of my characters, and items marked as "locked" in FOC Item Saver are not deconstructed by MassDeconstructor.

Hey there,

FCOItemSaver changed the API funcitons in the past so you need to adopt your addon here or it'll deconstruct all marked items too!

Please have a look at this thread for the changes, and download the newest version of FOCIS to check the filc "FCOIS_API.lua" and the funcitons available in the API of my addon.

-Example-
Your current non-working code:
Lua Code:
  1. --FCO ItemSaver support
  2.   if FCOIsMarked and FCOIsMarked(GetItemInstanceId(bagId, slotId), {1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10,11,12}) then -- 9 is deconstruct
  3.     return true
  4.   end

New needed code:
Lua Code:
  1. --Old for FCOIS version < 1.0
  2. if FCOIsMarked then
  3.     if FCOIsMarked(GetItemInstanceId(bagId, slotId), {1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10,11,12}) then -- 9 is deconstruct
  4.         return true
  5.     end
  6. --New for FCOIS version >= 1.0
  7. elseif FCOIS and FCOIS.IsDeconstructionLocked then
  8.     return FCOIS.IsDeconstructionLocked(bagId, slotId)
  9. endif
