Armor glyphs only add about 40% of the listed Health, Stamina or Magicka to hand, feet, shoulder and waist items. This addon adds a line to armor glyph tooltips that shows this reduced amount. Icons are also added to each of the 2 lines depicting which pieces of armor get either 100% of the listed value or 40% of the listed value.

This addon does NOT take infused items into account with either listed value. This addon is only intended to show the base values of the enchantment for large(head, chest, legs and shield) and small(hands, feet, shoulders, waist) armor pieces.



The code for this addon was mostly taken from Garkin's CritPercent.

Votan did all of the work adapting Garkin's code to work for this addon.

Thanks to Baertram for pointing Votan and me to Garkin's CritPercent code.

I only came up with the idea, made the images and adjusted the positioning.

It's just an idea and maybe doesn't work due to several reasons
first problem first : hovering a symbol inside an Itemtooltip.

must be the PopupTooltip or the comparative one or even a custom one (copy of the ItemTooltip but not the one displayed by the default UI) you're referring to, but anyway, the icon is part of a string and is not a control itself, so it would be horribly difficult to generate a tooltip from it. (with coordinates applied to the size of the string? Oo)
Or just add a new control as a child of the PopupTooltip ? (ItemTooltip will be hidden by just focusing any other mouse enabled object so it seems impossible unless you show that other control until closed, but it could be very uncomfortable to use)

reEdit: All considered, as you said, with a click on the item (like in Sous-Chef for exemple) you could just show a different control that develops the infos anyway you like though --all items quality etc... with everything tooltipable inside too

ZOS decided to be very misleading with armor glyphs, this addon is a great tool when enchanting our armor!!!!
