Crafting Preview (Armor)  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.8
by: Shinni [More]
This addon previews the currently selected armor at the crafting station.
In the PC UI it is also possible to select a neutral environment, so the lighting near the crafting station doesn't matter.
# 1.8
- the tooltip is now movable
- added color information

# 1.7
- compatible with the CC update

# 1.6
- compatible with the HotR update

# 1.5
- compatible with the Morrowind update
- added preview of different color schemes

# 1.4
- fixed alignment issues in the german version

# 1.3
- compatible with FurniturePreview

# 1.2
- removed preview from the woodworking station as shields aren't really armor and thus can not be previewed with the current API.

# 1.1
- fixed a bug where after visiting the crafting station a second time, every second crafting selection would not be displayed.

# 1.0
- initial release

It's possible to preview armor (equipment), but not to preview weapons, unfortunately. That does include shields, I think - it counts as weapon. If you try, nothing happens.

I do not see my shield, it's a mistake, or it's a shame like that between the armor.
is the question of neplanujes to add weapons?

I would also like to be able to set a specific dye set as the default one. I like the #67 so I always have to click alot to get there

Did they ever explain why?

The "preview in empty world" background is WAY too bright (imo) and makes it hard to see my character (especially with dark dyes). Can you change the background to be the same as the furniture preview "world"? Perhaps it could even be a choice in the settings of the add-on so people can choose which one they prefer.
Seconded.

Here's to hoping ZOS might revert that change to unowned armor previews. This mod's been a big help in figuring aesthetics out and deciding which motifs I'm gunna actually use

Thats really sad.. its not like we can't see motifs we don't own just by going to a website.. but now we have to buy a motif just to see how it looks on our character. Two steps forward one step back..
No kidding. When your designated crafting character isn't the character you're wanting to preview gear on it's useless. Hopefully they revert that change
