Group Buffs
Version: 1.3.3
by: Sordrak [More]
This addon allows the user to add a new component on the display which will display certain buffs, debuffs and other effects that have been applied to group members. The user has to exactly configure what is going to be displayed.

Configuration:
Global Configuration:

Addon enabled: You can disable the addons functionality here without issuing a /reloadui.

Frame Configuration:
New frame name: A frame can contain several buffs. If you want to have the buffs located at different locations or if you want to differentiate between PvE and PvP you should add different frames. The frame name has to be unique (character based).
Frame: To configure a frame you’ll have to select a previously created frame.
Frame enabled: If a single frame shouldn’t be displayed, it can be disabled here.
Fixed location: By default, it is possible to move the frames to another location. Once the right location is found, this option can be activated to ensure that the frame can’t be moved anymore.
Frame enabled in PvP: Depending on the configuration the frame will be displayed in PvP.
Frame enabled in PvE: Depending on the configuration the frame will be displayed in PvE.
Buff Spacing: A frame can contain multiple buffs. The buff spacing defines the empty space between those buffs.
Header Color: It is possible to define a caption for each buff. The color of this caption can be defined here.

Buff Configuration:

New buff name: A frame can consist of different buffs. Each buff can have a name. This name will be displayed as the caption in the frame header.
Buff: To configure a buff, the previously created buff has to be selected.
Column size: This slider allows changing the display size of the buff.
Order: There are several options on how the buff list should be sorted.
Show buff name: If the caption shouldn’t be displayed, it can be disabled here.

Buff effect ID: Each buff can consist of different buff effects. An effect can be a buff, debuff or any other status effect. This can be used to display buffs with different names but the same effect to be displayed as the same buff. E.g. Bound armor gives Minor Ward, but Minor Ward can be gained through other means. To display if any of these buffs is active, both should be added as a buff effect for the same buff.
Buff effect color: It is possible to use different colors for different effects to easily differentiate which buff is currently up.
Buff effect: Let’s you select the specific effect.

Effects (Visual): Let’s you change the visual behavior of a buff. E.g. you could change the color of the buff when it is close to running out.
Effects (Audio): Let’s you play a sound if a certain buff is active on a group member.

Note: At the current state, not all buff effects that are available in the game are currently available through this addon. E.g. certain effects gained through armor sets aren’t implemented yet. If you encounter such a situation, please use the comment section of this addon on esoui.com to provide the names and the IDs gathered through the debug functions provided by this addon.

                        },
The ID isn't that important in the end as long as the buffs have the same name. I'll take a look at it later.
I have to correct myself here. I think i remember what the issue is. All rapid morphs aren't valid anymore. They all aren't used anymore. The buff that shows up is Major Expedition instead (which they previously didn't). They made that change with Summerset. Unfortunately they haven't removed those abilities in the table. I might remove Rapid and all its morphs in a future version.

If you think any of the things i wrote above is incorrect, feel free to comment on it so i might actually change anything in the existing code.

Not sure if passives show up as buffs. I'll take a look on it later and add it if it is possible.

Oh, don't worry too much about selfbuffs if you can't, thanks anyway. ^^

Problem is my game isn't in English so I'm not totally sure about the name... Here is the ID :
Œil de faucon^m: 78855

(Edit : changed the IG language.)
Hawk Eye: 78855

Hi and thx for the feedback

Please provide the buff name and buff id (by using the /gb debug commands) and i'll add it.

regarding the selfbuffs, that would be quite a bit of work. i don't have much time currently and will look at it in a while.

Should be implemented now. Feedback is welcome.

I currently do not see an easy way to handle this, as the group size might be dynamic. Which means the location of the second buff would be on a different position depending on the group size. Defining a fixed position would be quite a bit of work. Anyway, i'll consider this but it will take quite a while to implement if i decide to add this.

However, you could use a work around, if the group size is known (e.g. you're always running trials and the player cap is at 12). Add multiple frames and position them vertically. I know, that's quite painful, but currently the only way to achieve this.
Yeah, i had the same idea for this trick, but I currently dont need this feature. It is just a suggestion.

- add a search function for the extrem long buff list
2 of the features are now added.
Currently I won't add the search functionality as it is simply to much work right now. Use "/gb menu" to configure the new features.
