Memento Bar
Version: 1.0.0
by: Jarth [More]
This addon will allow you to show mementos on a hotbar and execute them by clicking on the corresponding image.
Settings can be used to select:
  • Background color
  • Border color
  • Change bar orientation
  • Change bar depth
  • Visibility in menues
  • What mementos to show

Hint: To move the bar/icons, you have to drag the background/between the icons/buttons

Memento bar
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 1.0.0 (07-01-2017)
(Breaking changes to the saved settings)
- Added setting to show X,Y coordinates when the bar is moved
(Should be disabled after move)
- Fixed issue where the color would not be set properly, after doing a "Reset to default"
- The addon should no longer meta information about Memento's
- Refactored the code, should be easier to expand
-- Focus DRY
-- Merged settings/variabled into tables, i hope it don't affect memory usage in a bad way

Version 0.9.3 (28-12-2017)
- Updated the cooldown event from EVENT_ABILITY_COOLDOWN_UPDATED to EVENT_ACTION_UPDATE_COOLDOWNS.
-- It has less updates, and less spam.
-- Also unregisters each time it is called.

Version 0.9.2 (26-12-2017)
- Fixed issue where the border would be visible, when no icons were shown

Version 0.9.1 (18-12-2017)
- Fixed issue when dragging skills to the hotbar

Version 0.9 (18-12-2017)
- Added functionality to select bar depth in settings
- Added functionality to hide the bar, when in menues
-- Feature: If the bar is hidden it will become visible when changing the orientation

- Known issues:
-- The initial cooldown shown is from the previous casted collectableId
-- Cannot execute mementos that require a target (Possible solution: Don't include them in the list, till there are hotkeys available)

Version 0.8 (17-12-2017)
- Known issues:
-- The initial cooldown shown is from the previous casted collectableId
-- Cannot execute mementos that require a target (Possible solution: Don't include them in the list, till there are hotkeys available)

With AUI you press hotkeys to switch to the item on that bar you want to use, then press a key to actually use it (the "drink/use" key tied into the 8 slot wheel you use to drink a potion).

Each item on that bar has its own hotkey. Then the drink/use key is pressed once item has been selected with the item's hotkey.
Thanks for the feedback.

I see the point with AUI, they decided that 10 would be enough and added 10 bindings for users to modify.
To me the number restriction makes sense here. Personally i never use those keybinding, but i guess it would make sense if you were in a rush to change.

In my experience, you "have to" stand still to use memento's (or the animation won't always start/execute) and there is no particular rush to get it cast..
It is far easier to use the "Toggle In-Game Cursor", and press it. Thereby giving your character a chance to settle before casting.

As said before, it might make sense to add keybindings at some point, but i don't see any need for it now.
(Especially not when it is "only" a single bar with memento's on it. )

At this time i won't be adding hotkeys to the bar.
But feel free to take that idea and make one of your own.

One of the goals with the addon were to make it dynamic, so i didn't have to update it when a new memento got added. I also wanted to allow users to show as many/few memento's as they wished.

I would like to add dynamic keybindings for each, and for each show what key to press.
But i have not found a way to add dynamic keybindings, and at this time i don't wan't to restrict/set the number of icons, or hardcode specific memento's.
