1.9.4.1 installs both:
Addons/mhOutfitter
Addons/wykkydsOutfitter

mhOutfitter is old, and only lives to feed savedvariables to the new wykkydsOutfitter.

After a few versions this old addon, mhOutfitter, will be phased out and removed from the .zip file. At that time you will all be notified and you will be able to remove it from your addon list.

IF YOU UPDATE AND DO NOT HAVE YOUR SAVED VARIABLES/SETS... then you should probably:
1 - Exit to DESKTOP (log out all of the way)
2 - delete Live\SavedVariables\wykkydsOutfitter.lua
3 - Load into the game
4 - Enable addon: "Wykkyd's Outfitter (deprecated)"
5 - Enable addon: "Wykkyd's Outfitter 1.9.4.1"
6 - Log into all characters, 1 by 1, that use Outfitter

Wykkyd's Outfitter allows you to create GEAR SETS and ACTION BAR SETS from within the Inventory & Skills windows and load them at will. The sets you build in Outfitter can also be macro'd via Wykkyd's Macros and can, thus, be paired together and keybindable, if you so choose.

Swap your gear with a click!

Swap your action bar abilities with a click!

AS OF OUTFITTER 1.8.24.1 you will have to re-build all armor sets that you've built in the past. None of them will cross over and work properly. This is because I converted the addon over to use Zenimax's new item API for identifying your gear. This changed the ID codes associated with each piece of gear and that results in your old sets no longer being viable. I highly recommend you use the Outfitter popup window inside of the Inventory/Bags game window and re-build your sets before trying to equip them, or you might flood yourself offline.
  • All new item Identifier system = more accurate and faster gear moves
  • Cleaner item handling = fewer issues with duplicate or dual wielded items and shields
  • Faster item moves = slightly greater chance you could move too quickly and cause small item hangs. So try not to swap sets too quickly after each other (I recommend waiting at least 3 to 5 seconds, and I also recommend reloading your user interface occasionally between multiple swaps to keep things running smooth).
  • DO NOT open or close your bags or manually click any gear while an item move is taking place
  • WARNING swapping gear-sets while mounted will dismount you if your swap includes any weapons
  • WARNING swapping skill sets CAN result in a graphical bug with your ability icons. Toggling between weapon 1 & 2 a few times really quick usually resolves this bug (it is a game bug and I cannot directly fix it, sorry).

NEW WITH WYKKYDS MACROS (separate addon) you can now take advantage of a VERY ADVANCED user interface, via the new features of the MACRO WINDOW.
  • Firstly: You can swap both action bars AND a gear set in a SINGLE macro with 1 press. The inactive weapon's skills will load when you swap to it. It will even prompt you in chat to toggle your weapons to finish loading your skills.
  • ADVANCED FEATURE: Macro Key Intercept (ESC > Settings > Wykkyd Settings > Macro Key Intercept)
    • MAKE SURE TO KEYBIND THE MACRO WINDOW (ESC > Controls > Keybindings > Wykkyd's Framework Macro Window)
    • Opening the macro window with this setting enabled WILL INTERCEPT ALL KEYSTROKES
      • This doesn't log what you're typing. That would be silly since it would only be able to write them to your saved variables file, which nobody but you has access to.
      • This DOES interrupt gameplay temporarily, but that is by design.
      • This is SPECIFICALLY so that you can re-map your keys WHEN INSIDE THIS WINDOW to whatever you wish, WITHOUT interrupting your normal game keybinds
    • When the macro window is open, you can HOLD CONTROL to enable key mapping (which lets you set which key triggers which macro)
    • Hovering your mouse cursor over a TAB button, a MACRO button or the CLOSE button while holding CONTROL lets you set that button to be triggered by the keyboard key that you press.
    • EXAMPLE: Setting a keybind inside the macro window
      • Open the macro window
      • Hold CONTROL on your keyboard
      • MOUSEOVER the first macro button
      • Press 1 (while still mousing over, and still holding control)
      • Macro 1 will now be set to the number key 1 whenever the macro window is open, but not at any other time
    • EXAMPLE USAGE: Swapping gear with a macro, using these new keybinds
      • Press HOME (my keybind for opening the macro window, in Controls>Keybinds)
      • Press 1 (my keybind, set inside the macro window, for Macro Button 1)
      • Press ` (my keybind, set inside Controls>Keybinds, for swapping weapons)
Change-Log will be maintained at WykkydGaming.com in the blog section, under the Change Log category.

Is there any chance in a future update that we could see a more visual option for selecting different skill/gear sets? Similar to "Swap Skills"?

I'm also wondering if it would be at all possible to make it so skill sets and gear sets are only shown on the character they're associated with? It gets kind of messy and confusing when I have to scroll through templar sets on my sorcerer.

Love this addon all in all though. Using ItemSaver to mark items in gear sets helps to make sure I don't accidentally sell anything I need. Thanks for all your hard work Wykkyd!

This is a great addon, along with your Macro. Only negative thing I've found is that when setting up multiple gear/skill sets and testing them out to see if they've been saved properly, the game logs me out with the "exceeded message limit, spamming" warning message. Is there any way to fix this? You've written that the addon only sends to our own chatwindow and not to the servers, which makes me think this is some oversight on ZOS part.

Does the addon save 1st and 2nd weapon skills separately, or together as one setting? It simply does not work to me. Having saved two completely different skill bars and seelcting to load the other one nothing at all happens. The same is if I macro them. Only /emote macros work but not gear or skill macros. The addon worked well pre-1.5 although it was notoriously dangerous to use macros too often as you got disconnected from server for "spamming".

Open "wykkydsOutfitter/code/ABT.Frame.lua" in text editor and change line 89 from:
Lua Code:
  1. editbox.tooltipText = nil
to
Lua Code:
  1. editbox.data = {}

Do the same change in "wykkydsOutfitter/code/GC.Frame.lua".
to fix same problem with macros, Do the same change in "Addons/wykkydsMacros/code/Editor.lua" on line 593.
I tried the edits and still got the error message.

1. On a different account and a fresh mac install with no Wykkyd ever installed before i got errors simalar too GreyRanger when i click the '+' in the gear part of outfitter AND MOUSE OVER THE INPUT BOX. The same thing happens when try to add a skill set. The rest of the update seems to work fine. The same happenned when i try'd to create a new macro name.

EsoUI/Libraries/ZO_Templates/OptionsWindowTemplate.lua:476 attempt to index a nil value stack traceback:
EsoUI/Libraries/ZO_Templates/OptionsWindowTemplate.lua:476 in function 'ZO_Options_OnMouseEnter'

2. On my my PTS install on a PC and my main/seperate account, i down loading the latest files and installed them,
but it wont recognize it as version 2, it keeps thinking its a 1.6 version in the part of ESO where one enables/disables addons (version 2.01 on 11/4 files ) ... i noticed it previously had mhFramework and MhOutfitter previously installed. I will delete the old mhFramework and it worked but had the same problem creating new files as the fresh install above that GreyRanger also had.

3. I previously had v1.6.25.1 mhOutfitter & mhFramework, i have been fiddling around and have not found a way to bring in both my old gear, old skills and old macros.... i had 40 macro's and gear & skills to support those macros.... i will continue to play with it., but if i cant bring in the old stuff i may find a better tool bar and look to other methods of macro'ng gear & skills. Thats all I really need,, most of the other features are nice, but not essential.

P.S. - 1.6.25 worked pretty flawlessly ... occasionally go naked would create problems or i might need to load twice to get skills in or very rarely just not finish loading (reloadui would fix). Also being able to macro 48 keys vs 12 was a great new feature and new interface looks nice. Just i am hoping to get my old sets in before i change my LIVE account. It will take me a good day to bring in all my old gear sets and some skill sets and emotes i will never remember.

Tutorial Video :(

I tried to watch the tutorial video but the volume is too low to hear.

I wear hearing aids and use a TV streamer attached to the computer and it works excellently.

But I couldn't hear the video. I tried turning EVERYTHING up to full 100% volume to no avail.

I connected a headset and tried using that and it was worse than my hearing aid setup.

Don't know what is wrong with the video's audio but it needs to be fixed.

thanks

I receive the same "Set *** Not Found Error" every time. Functionally it is working because the "Go Naked" command will remove all gear, however it won't recognize any saved sets. I'm using 1.9.27.1 and have uninstalled/reinstalled several times. I have deleted all the Wykkyd LUA files from the Saved Variables folder and reinstalled the addon.

change is not possible (in combat, having 2nd weapon equipped but trying to change set for 1st weapon) and I don't notice it immediately and press my combo button several times, I can get several notifications after the change is possible, at once.

This has led to situations when my chat box is flooded with outfitter notifications in short time and I get disconnected by the game for spamming. The simplest solution to this would be to disable chat notifications, but outfitter settings don't have any parameters, so I don't know where to do that.

My other question relates to the situation I mentioned above. I am in a situation when change is not possible (in combat), but don't realize that immediately and press my combo button to change my set from "leveling" to "ST/AOE". Nothing happens, so I press it again (and possibly even third time ). After the combat ends, I get 2 (3) changes one after the other. Same changes from one set to other. I guess that's due to the queue changes are in, and I understand it.
But, would it be possible to set the outfitter to only perform the latest change in this queue?

Thanks you for your work on add-ons (outfitter is one of the things I would not be able to play ESO without) and please ... don't stop.
The chat notifications actually can not spam you offline. It's physically impossible, since they don't go to anyone or even hit the server. They get pinned directly into your chat box by the addon and don't hit any commands that the game does spam filtering on. This is a rather common misconception. What would be spamming you offline in the scenario you describe is actually the spammed attempts to swap sets, which disabling notifications wouldn't fix.

To your other points, it doesn't currently have a non-verbose mode. This was by design because the addon needs to tell you to swap weapons when you have it loading 2 skill sets (you can save a set per weapon to the same skill set and it will actually load both, with a simple weapon swap when it's ready). So until I wire up an on-screen alert to swap weapons, the chat alerts are still necessary.

I would also recommend, perhaps, moving your keybinds for outfitter sets so that you can't hit them accidentally

If you check into advanced macro'ing (watch the video) you might find it easier for you, for example, to bind the macro window to something across your keyboard like... F10. Then used advanced macros (and keyboard intercept mode) to bind your 1st macro key to W, second to A, then S, then D... for example. << would reduce your keybinds overall and remove the chance of an accidental shift, since you couldn't trigger the macros without hitting F10 first. (F10, W combo would swap to whatever set you put on macro 1... while W without F10 first continues to walk you forward as normal).
