One Inventory for all of the characters on your account!

Known issues
  • Causes a short, but noticeable delay when opening your inventory or bank, especially on older computers. We're still investigating - unfortunately, the solution isn't a trivial one-liner. This has not been forgotten - both devs use the AddOn themselves and are annoyed by it.


What does it do?
  • tracks everything in your characters' Bags, Bank, Guild Banks, and CraftBag
  • keeps track of the Gold / AP / Telvar Stones / Writ Vouchers for each character
  • keeps track of the space used/available for each character
  • allows filtering your inventory by item type
  • lets you search the items by name, or by set name
  • adds data to item tooltip showing you where that item is located (all popups/tooltips, or only when over the Inventory Insight window)

Recently added features:
  • Now tracks items in the extended bank for ESO+ subscribers (it's still in 'Bank', but now it won't disappear or have no name in it's location)
  • Right click menu to link in chat (double-clicking an item still works)
  • Right click menu option to find all missing pieces of a motif from the current list
  • Motif check is now two different right click options. One for local, one for Chat. Both generate a link for the achievement with "known"/"unknown" chapters based on what's missing from the displayed list
  • Motif check also doesn't require filter to single motif anymore, it's based on whatever style you right clicked, and only that one
  • Can be configured to put the item location information directly into the tooltip, or leave it in the extra frame like previous versions
  • Right click menu now has two quick filter options, filter by item name and filter by set name
  • Writ Voucher count is now part of the Gold info popup (rightmost column)


Known Issues:
/AddOns/IIfA/IIfA.lua:{some line}: attempt to index a nil value
stack traceback: user:/AddOns/IIfA/IIfA.lua:{some line}: in function 'IIfA_onLoad'
Caused by residual files in the folder. Please completely reinstall the add-on!


Backlog:
  • Track multiple accounts: Can't be done
  • Check "trash and misc"-tab
  • Hook up home storage boxes before PTS hits live
  • Eliminate the lag upon opening the bags
  • Add a quality filter like FurnitureCatalogue has

With one of the newest Updates this Addon does not delete the opened containers (like the Transmute-Geodes or the Crafting-Daily-Shipment-Boxes.

I can confirm this issue. The items in the housing storages appear in Inventory Insight (II) immediately when I enter the house without looking into the chests. When I leave the house they are gone from II.

BTW: Thank you for this addon. Managing my gear with excel sheets was a pain in the a..

Ok, solved with deleting and recreating the database. Now I have another problem. When I go to my house where I have chests, the items inside get recorded in Housing Storage. When I leave the house, everything disappears from that list..

Hello. There seems to be issues with the Housing Storage. As far as I can tell everything else seems to be working, with my limited testing.

I tested this by wiping all the data and restarting the game. Then I logged into character and opened inventory, visited bank, visited each house I own, opened each storage container, and then restarted game so all data could be recorded.

- None of the items in "Storage Coffer, Fortified" (from level-up rewards) are being shown in the InventoryFrame under "Housing Storage" or any other list. Currently I have all disguises in that storage, but I also tried to deposit a necklace into the storage and it wouldn't show either. Maybe there's a problem with this container?

- When I deposit the necklace into the other storage containers it shows in the InventoryFrame with that container's name in the item's tooltip (working). But when I withdraw the necklace from the container it remains in the "Housing Storage" list and the tooltip says it's in my character's inventory where it actually is (not working). The item(s) appear to not be getting removed from the Housing Storage list.

In the image below, the 2 necklaces are in the "Housing Storage" list but both are actually located in my character's inventory. Also those are 2 different necklaces (different enchants) so that's why it shows 2.

that's a problem in Trait Buddy's code, not in Inventory Insight's.

Change line 91 in the file ui/InventoryInsight.lua from

LUA error

Hi,
Just downloaded latest version and now keep getting lua errors which seems to also include trait buddy addon. I wiped database and then got the following error, which occurred when I completed a heist and the reward went into my inventory (did not open inventory for error to trigger).

Updated, deleted and refreshed database, and now it seems to be working perfectly. A few days without this addon has revealed it to be one of the most essential in the game :P

Yes - after the database cleaning, you need to log through all characters that you want tracked as well as interacting with any guild bank you want to add.
