This add-on looks to be precisely what I am looking for, but for some reason the add-on's Settings panel seems missing in my game.

Assuming a conflict with another add-on, I temporarily deleted my other addons and downloaded fresh copies of Helmet Toggle 1.5.16 and LibAddonMenu 2.0 r34. Starting the game like that: While the keybind option does appear under Controls and does work, Helmet Toggle's settings panel does not appear (so with no other addons present the whole 'Addons' section is not displayed under 'Settings'), and the /helmettoggle command returns"Invalid Command". When I also have my other add-ons installed and active, their 'Settings' panels do appear and function correctly, so my install of LibAddonMenu seems to be working.

Can anyone think of something obvious I may have missed, or is this feature of Helmet Toggle unfortunately incompatible with the current game version?

Will this addon be changed to work with the new method currently on PTS to hide the helmet, aka 'hide helm' from within HATS section collectibles section?

Well, I kinda got it working, but there's much more that can go wrong (e.g. finding the correct item to equip). It's pretty much useless anyway, because you can't (un)equip items when in combat so the auto mode doesn't work with it but that's where we actually need the toggling without sheathing the weapons the most.

Pretty sure, this is because of ZOS, at least, I didn't found sheathe command in the code...
Jap, just reproduced it, that's strange. I'll look into it.
Bad news, if you manually toggle the setting (Gameplay > Item: Hide Helmet) the weapon also gets sheathed and it's not possible to draw them with an addon

I think it's stupid that ZOS changed that behaviour

I'll still try to tinker with it and will update the addon if I find a solution, but it looks like we're S.O.L.

Yes, that behaviour is intended. The key, button and chat command are for the manual mode, and the combat detection is the auto mode.
is there no way of having both?
ive been RP'ing alot lately so i put on and remove the hat alot but its odd that it only disables the hat , i have to manually got into te addon again to enable it.
