This addon will deal with your unwanted items :
  • all "trash" items will be automatically marked as junk
  • option to mark ornate items as junk
  • option to mark items up to selected quality as junk (items with researchable trait, set bonus, non-craftable enchantment, rare style or specified level / champion rank can be excluded)
  • option to mark jewels up to selected quality as junk (jewels with set bonus can be excluded)
  • option to mark ornate jewels up to selected quality as junk
  • option to mark trait-less jewels as junk
  • option to mark trait-less items as junk
  • option to mark style materials as junk, customizable if full stack in bank
  • option to mark trait materials as junk, customizable if full stack in bank
  • option to mark smithing boosters as junk up to selected quality as junk, customizable if full stack in bank
  • option to mark ingredients up to selected provisioning level or which is not used in any of your recipes as junk
  • option to mark known provisioning recipes up to selected quality as junk
  • option to mark cold/congealed/stale food and cloudy/flat/murky drinks as junk
  • option to mark fishing lure as junk, customizable if full stack in bag
  • option to mark looted potions as junk, customizable if full stack in bag and/or bank and can exclude hier tier potions.
  • option to mark looted poison as junk, customizable if full stack in bag and/or bank and can exclude hier tier poisons.
  • option to mark looted glyphs as junk and can exclude hier tier glyphs
  • option to mark aspect runes as junk up to selected quality as junk, customizable if full stack in bank
  • option to destroy all unwanted items with gold value less or equal to the selected amount
  • option to track user marked junk
  • option to mark stolen valuables up to selected quality as junk
  • option to mark trophies and fish trophies already collected
  • option to launder items at fence, with exclusions
  • option to import settings between characters

All items marked as junk will be automatically sold to vendor when you open store window.

In-game setting is in the SETTINGS -> Addon Settings -> Dustman (or just type /dustman).


How to manually install addon:
  1. Go to the "Elder Scrolls Online" folder in your Documents

    For Windows: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\<version>\
    For Mac: ~/Documents/Elder Scrolls Online/<version>/

    (replace <version> with the client you're using - "live" or "liveeu")

  2. You should find an AddOns folder, if you don't, create one.
  3. Extract the addon from downloaded zip file to the AddOns folder
  4. Log into the game, and in the character creation screen, you'll find the Addons menu.
    Enable your addons from there.

Thanks for looking into it, I'd really love to use the mod, but right now I don't trust it a bit. Logged in on my dd I have not played for a week or so, and found out the mod had also sold my locked gold upgraded healing staff and I can't buy it back.. Getting a little expensive... :P

Unfortunately I don't have much details to give. I noticed when using the auto-sell feature and the notifications that sometimes the addon would sell items that weren't marked, like one Ginseng, for no reason. Last time it did that I checked my inventory and I still had some Ginseng so I assumed it was just a UI error, I should have checked the buyback tab to confirm if it had actually sold it.
However the one time the addon truly messed up it sold a lot of items which were not marked as junk, such as style materials and some iron ingots (5 out of my 41). I could buyback the style materials for free but the ingots cost me more than they sold for. When this happened, I also noticed that it hadn't sold my junk, so I'm guessing for each stack in my junk bag it probably accidentally sold an equal amount items in my non-junk bag by mistake ?
Just by curiosity, does your autosell feature pass by the default shop's autosell junk method or does it manually iterate on all items marked as junk and attempt to sell them ? I'm not sure how ESO modding works, but if you're using the former I'm going to lose trust in ESO's "Sell all junk" button.

I'll have a look on this, Dustman should not sell items marked as protected. It supports FCO Item Saver, ItemSaver and ESOUI base locking feature, but marking an item as junk may broke your protection.

The addon works pretty well, but the auto-sell sometimes sells stuff from the non-junk bag and leaves stuff in the junk bag. Luckily the buyback cost difference wasn't too horrible, but I've deactivated the auto-sell as I'm scared it'll keep messing up.
I never meet this case, I'll need more details.

I would like to thank you for an efficient tool to keep my inventory clear. Have used it for a few months on several characters. Works like a charm, maybe too well.

maybe im missing something (using the addon since ages) but i somehow cannot auto junk the food you receive when doing FG MG quests?
this one for example:

mmh.. first name should be [email protected] Megaserver (or EU Megaserver) in dropdown.. and then after clicking, option panel should close, you'll have a message and reloadui will be automatically done.

and the concerned char mst be logged once before copying that's all.

I'll try to find why this don't work..
Any update on why import isn't working?

Stolen clothes option is here for roleplay / fashion / achievement purposes, it's clothes, not armors.

if you want to exclude a specific weapon/armor, you need to set the non stolen filters a bit more as you want, dustman sold the weapons because they matched your standard (non-stolen) criterions.

To destroy automatically types of items you don't want to launder, you can check the option at the end of stolen section "Destroy items previously selected"

I'll have a look of this item, I still didn't reconnected since few days..

I guess you are using pChat. Right click on a tab and uncheck 'system'. It's not very a dustman issue.

If you want to completly disable dustman notification, it's in dustman options, "Notification" panel.
Yeah, that's the thing, the system box isn't checked in any tab but the first default tab, yet it still seems to show up regardless =\

Is there a way to stop seeing the chat report in every chat tab I have? It's like some default category of chat that gets adopted by each of them, and there isn't any checkbox for it.
I guess you are using pChat. Right click on a tab and uncheck 'system'. It's not very a dustman issue.

I'll add something.
There is a small bug with this feature. If there is 199 in the stack, and you loot 2 pieces of lure in one go, then not only is the single piece junked, but so is the original stack. I've had this happen to me twice now with insect parts.
