If you were to make the two changes Sorondor posted then the addon will function again, simply minus the new IC recipes.

Nope, nothing wrong with map & MiniMap updates, I went to Bal Foyen docks, entered Smuggler's tunel countelss times with and without additional add-ons. everything checks. square/wheel/rotation modes. I simply can't reproduce that.

I had not installed every version, so I can not say exactly but I remember:
the first version for the new API (MiniMap 2.69) had NOT this error
the last 2 versions (2.76 / 2.77) HAVE this error
so somewhere betweeen this versions should be the reason.

yes, of course! Only MiniMap no other addons for the tests
try the situaion with the tunnel and you will see
(sometimes you need to leave the tunel 2 o 3 times but the error appears only during using MiniMap)

There is an option in performance settings WorldMap refresh if you set it off it will still do map refresh callbacks but not as often as it would do with this option enabled. If you have MapFix installed try disabling it and see if that solves your problem.

This is ridiculous, MiniMap pulls the custom pin data (Skyshards, Lorebooks, Lost treasures, etc.) from the ESO map to display pins - it doesn't alter Map's contents in any way, if you see pins updated on MiniMap then you should see that on the main map.
Edit: Do you have WorldMap refresh setting enabled when this happens?

Minimap updates but the ESO map updates no more.
I can manualy choose the new map then it works.

Have you got more than one addon that shows pins on map or compass? I noticed yesterday if you do then only the last one loaded will get used.
yes, I use LoreBooks and SkyShards
But up to version 1.14 it was not a problem to use them all together
