So I really like how the interface looks. It's small and non-intrusive while being still easily readable. It seems to take up less screen estate than, say, S'Rendarr. That being said, I couldn't get this addon to function properly. I've read that some fonts didn't allow the addon to work right. These are the fonts not working...

I see that the add on was updated yesterday, but after applying the patched program it still does not display the text of the buff, just the symbol, any ideas? Thx for what you do, btw! Did you look to see what font you are using for your buffs? I patched up LibMediaProvider to fix missing fonts (that were removed from the game file...

may you add in future time the new latency output to it? Anyone may create a plug-in for it, no need to wait on me. :)

ESO Update 1.5.2 error I guess the screen with Notebook open tells the whole story. It still works despite the buttons giving an error. http://www.fishwine.net//gamerclown/TESO/Screens/ZAM%20Notebook%20error152a.jpg From the comment here I believe that Seerah has already prepared working version for Update 5. If you do not want...

Hello, 1.5 will be live monday for US and Tuesday for EU Could we get an up to date version of LAM maybe a little bit before to package our stuff nicely ? I think a great majority of users will try to download our stuff as soon many addon use your (great) library. PS: I've tested LAM on pts with the Garkin's dropbox version...

@Atropos What you want to do is 100% possible with LAM-2.0. Especially since you reload the UI when enabling/disabling modules in FTC - this becomes even simpler. There are several ways this can be accomplished. You can set the controls for that module to be disabled (and greyed out) if the module is not active (this is actually...

I'm... sorry? You seem as if you're angry with me for some reason. It's a table. You can name it whatever you want, so long as you pass the correct variable reference to the function. In fact, you don't even *need* to assign your table to a variable - you can make an anonymous table right within the function call, so...

Yes, but that isn't intuitive for the user (to not have an apply button). If all of their other addons update in real-time and yours does not, and they don't see a way that they have to apply their settings, they'll think something's broken. If it is indeed causing a delay, then you'll want to either optimize your function cal...

Re: Re: Re: How to handle setting updates on close
Posted By: Seerah
Yep, I'd prefer to apply settings once without resorting to an "apply" button. I was guessing that there would be a way to hook into a close/hide event for the settings panel to trigger the re-initialization of the module. Applying in real-time works, but it seems that it may lead to unresponsiveness with, say, slider controls (I'm a...

Re: How to handle setting updates on close

re-inits who-what-now? Are you talking about when your settings actually take place and the set function is called? If you want all of the settings to be applied at once then you would create an "Apply" button for your config. Otherwise, most everyone has their settings take effect in real-time.

You can already add anything you want to the controlData table. It's just a table. ;) But I can add a table to each panel that contains all of the children. This might be useful since there is no real control:GetChildren() method. Now that I think of it, it would probably be best to just have controlsToRefresh filled unconditiona...

optionData.reference - I named the checkboxes and hooked after panel "OnShow", so everytime the panel is shown, I update labels. Simple, I only hate there're globals just because of this. Could you add "panelReference/localReference/controlKey" whatever you name it to optionData, and a table to the panel so that the controls are acce...

Something odd happened recently. I haven't played much in the past couple of weeks, so I just noticed this earlier. (Prior to updating to version 0.45. The update to 0.45 did not remedy the problem.) As you can see, the player icon and the settings icons (that appear on hover) are all missing from my map: https://dl.dropboxuser...

I may just be stupid, but is there a way to change the location of the minimap on the screen? You can press . (the default keybind to release your cursor) and drag the frame.

Sorry, CDG - not sure how I missed it. >< All fixed now. While i am at it, is it possible to alter the colorpicker (add an option) so that it does not show the alpha channel. Don't pass an alpha value to the color picker in your getFunc. ;)

What you think about localization for this addon? For other language support: German and French? I most certainly intend on adding localization, and it is on the top of my list to accomplish this month for this addon. :)

Wonder nobody noticed yet, there's a tiny bug in this tiny lib ;) or (I guess that's what that local strformat was intended for) error(strformat("Cannot find a library instance of %q.", tostring(major)), 2) Whoops... Yep. :o Just reminding that this is still not fixed. I know. I haven't uploaded it yet. :p

Re: Sub Menu Close Method
Posted By: Seerah
I was wondering is it would be possible to add something so you can close a sub menu from the bottom of the sub menu. Some sub menus are log enough so the top of it is off the screen when you scroll to the bottom of it. It is annoying to have to scroll back up to the top to close it. In r9, there is a clickable strip at the bottom o...

Oh - you mean the submenu limit. I guess 1500 wasn't big enough for your purposes. I've increased the size limit, and it will be in the next patch (which should go up tomorrow).

This might seem a bit of nitpicking but I kinda get bothered by the black inner egge in the border texture. Instead of using "EsoUI\\Art\\Tooltips\\UI-Border.dds" could you please use "EsoUI\\Art\\miscellaneous\\borderedinsettransparent_edgefile.dds" It's basically the same golder edge texture but without the black inside, sin...

also i think i mite have found a bug. The description control overlaps other controls. I'm not sure if this is only when using \n or without as well. Thank you and keep up the great work :) Make sure you're using the latest version. The anchoring bug in descriptions without titles was fixed already. :)
