Sorry if this has been covered before but when using the RPG map is there anyway to make the overlay texture transparent? The black blob is offputting and I'm not a massive fan of the other overlays. Thanks in advance for any insight!
No, thats impossible, if you remove overlay textures, you have a square map(textures hide corners...

Could you explain the zoom settings? I am trying to address the issue for a small map displayed inside some areas like Grahtwood inside Elden Root.
I cannot make heads or tails out of the descriptions for some of the settings, like "Zoom Zone-none" or "Zoom Zone-AvA" or Cosmic, World or Alliance
I don't know which map is which...

Something odd happened recently. I haven't played much in the past couple of weeks, so I just noticed this earlier. (Prior to updating to version 0.45. The update to 0.45 did not remedy the problem.)
As you can see, the player icon and the settings icons (that appear on hover) are all missing from my map:

not sure why but just rebuilt my system and went with win8.1.. now im having an issue running this addon. everytime I open my map I start getting ui errors saying cant cant do anything with a value of nil or something.. ive tried my best to completely uninstall any trace of it and reinstall it but it keeps doing it.. any suggestions?...

I have tested it with with 1378 active pins, square map, rotation enabled.
Version 0.410:
pins enabled = ~ 10 fps
pins disabled = ~ 96 fps
Version 0.425:
pins enabled = ~ 43 fps
pins disabled = ~ 96 fps
Version 0.433:
pins enabled = ~ 43 fps

Same as before. It seems you just added a map drawing buffer time. There is a long "loading" process on map drawing. Also, RMM opens world map for a second before loading itself. It's a fast process but I can see it flashes on screen, kinda disturbing.
Long loading process can be, if you have a low or high update rate.
