Has anything changed with how the data is stored? No, the incremental patch will be to fix issues and nothing will change how data is saved since it's all controlled by zos now.
Edit: Actually, it seems to look like I need to manually request (I was 2 days in and it was still asking me to 'Show More') but then the bar in LibHistor...

Because the broken categories are not known to the API then it's all human intervention and evaluation. Clearing the cache is the current way to be able to get data because of the ZOS API issues. It's not intended as a long term fix.
