Sub Sampling off=blurry?

Hi! Thanks so much for writing this! It helps me out! I'm wondering if things are supposed to look kind of blurry when sub sampling is turned off, via settings or your awesome program in "Low" mode. Or if it's a different setting I should be looking at. Thanks!
