is there an event for before/during logout?

Hello everyone. Noob author here just learning my way.

Is it possible to respond to when a character is logging out? For example, maybe to remind the user that their horse training is ready, or something like that?

there is already at least 10 addons telling you that your horse need training. No need to add another one

Prehook Logout, Quit and their dialogs. (LOG_OUT / QUIT)

These events only fire if you are not logging out at once.
If you want to be sure do as Ayantir wote: Prehook Logout
Search for ZO_PreHook.
