OSX: Minion stuck on "Scanning Drives" RAID in MacPro

I know I need to turn off the "auto scan drives" but I don't know where to find it in OS X. Can someone guide me to the file location and what needs to be changed? Thank you,

Oh thats interesting. I haven't tested Minion on a raid setup on a mac pro. I have an old mac pro tower that I could try and set one up and see if Minion gives me the same result.

Anyways to stop the drive scanning you'll need to edit your minion.xml
  1. Open your terminal. (Located in Applications >> Utilities)
  2. In the terminal window type: open ~/.minion
  3. A window should appear and one of the files in that window should be named minion.xml
  4. Open minion.xml with your favorite text editor (not ms word)
  5. Add the following above the </minion> line at the bottom:
Code:

<drive-configs never-ask-about-scanning="true">
</drive-configs>
