[outdated] Long Time Buffs
 

Sometimes i have multiple times the same buff with a really long duration. and i can see the effect buff/debuff too

It's not a long buff. It's a negative buff. -1 expressed in 32-bit is 0xFFFFFFFF, and that many seconds converted to days happens to be around 49710 days. It's treating a negative signed integer as a positive unsigned integer. But that's a separate issue; the question should be why buff hasn't been removed even when its duration drops into the negatives.

Huh wonder whats not registering correctly sometimes that causes this. Maybe a few debuffs for some reason don't send a proper type for EFFECT_FADED (just paraphrasing here).

I can't remember if custom trackers also show the buffs like this too.

Is this occuring on the live game or PTS?

What was the circumstance in which it happened? Were you in Cyrodiil, BGs, dungeon, etc.

most of the time this happens in cyrodiil. but i noticed this in pve overworld too. it seems to by random

uhm... this bug is very old and happens relatively often. e.g. you keep on burning (animation) and you see a debuff / effect in the character window...
