Request: Flag Addon
 

Hello Eso-ui,

especially for the Roleplayers it would be great to see some additional,
custom target information somewhere on interface and I just wonder,
why there is no Flag Addon for ESO?!

I'm not clear on what you are asking for. You want to flag an npc or pc in game (so dps knows what to target for example?)

That would be an excellent idea actually. It's hard sometimes to keep track of one monster in a pile of many. DPS attack the wrong one in the confusion.

this sounds interesting, too. But, what I`m looking for, is an Addon like World of Warcrafts FlagRSP, myRoleplay or totalRP. There you can share your Character’s Description or whatever you want with everyone, who is using the same addon. When you aim at another player, a window appears and shows you some more information about the player, his charakter, what he is looking for, whatever. Its a simple text box, like a guild note.

Either is not possible. First, there is currently no way to access information of the 3D world (e.g. where monster X is on your screen). Second, there is currently no good way for addons to transmit and receive data (e.g. your background story).
The only thing that is possible in this context is to make use of guild notes. So when a player from your guild appears you could show the guild note. Alternatively you could create an addon which stores Info for other characters you encounter, like a personal note on a per character basis.
