Need help getting a grip on anchors and layout
 

Hey all - apologies if this has been asked before, but I'm looking for a good resource to try and understand anchors so that I can layout some labels in a grid type way, along with padding to get my labels to display nicely and aligned in columns.

I have tried looking at other add-ons, but I'm kind of missing a good tutorial on it. The UI XML tutorial on the wiki is nice, but not enough to go more in depth.

Hope there are some good pointers.

Not sure which tutorial you read. Try part 6 and 7 of this tutorial and the wiki page about anchors to learn more about them.

Appreciate the pointers, think I can experiment based on the info there.
