Minion can't cope with moved doc folder

2 Attachment(s)
I have moved my documents folder to another drive, Minion goes ahead and makes a folder on C: anyway. Then it makes an ESO folder on C: to put addons in. Unsurprisingly ESO can't find these addons.

If you move the addons to where they should be (also not on C: ) Minion says you have addons installed but it doesn't display any of them in the appropriate area. If you then point Minion at the correct folder and restart it it hangs during the detection phase.

If I leave a copy where Minion put them it will find them and update them (it did so before I figured out they were in the wrong place), then I'll have to manually copy everything over after every update, so not ideal.

Start Minion and use the upper right options button to select the game directories new, then select the new dir where you have moved the docs to.

If this doesn't work:
Close eso and minion.
Rename/Delete the minion.xml file so it is not found anymore and rebuild on next minion start.
Start Minion as admin (you always should!) and choose the new directory for the game's addons (the correct, moved doc folder).
Update your addons (it should find the addons in the correct folder automatically).

Thanks - tried those. No good.

I've already Uninstalled/Installed Minion several times with different 'Scan drive ?:' options.

Also doesn't help the fact that Minion should be installing where I want it to (where Windows tells it) not wherever it feels like. And I would guess if Minion listened to Windows to that extent it might also be able to find my Documents folder.

Setup: ESO installed D:\ZenESO // Minion installed D:\ZenESO\Minion // Documents on E: // ESO 'Document' files in the correct place on E: // Minion 'Document' files on C: (my smallish OS only Solid State drive)

You could try to read something about "mklink" command for the windows command prompt (cmd).
Maybe you are able to symlink the wrong with the corretc folder this way and Minion will work then. But not sure if this helps and I'm not responsible for any other errors that might be produced this way :o
