With all the problems I had with the saved variable table over the weekend I can't remember if I imagined it or not but I am pretty sure that I was forced to use addonName_SavedVariables as the name for my saved variable table. By default I use something a lot shorter to use as it would be used a lot but I recall having to change it to that.
For example for my gatherer addon I would have used something like XGData in the TOC file and use it from the lua file.
Just a thought. Obviously I can't test and confirm at the moment but I am pretty sure I noticed that little annoyance.
