As the function throwing the error is a rewritten base game function it could be that there is some other addon which is using this function, causing this.
What other addons do you use?
Disable all other addons except pChat, is it working then?
If it works with only pChat then enable the other addons, one by one, and check which one is causing this.
Alternative:
Logout, then go to the SavedVariables folder, rename the file SavedVariables\pchat.lua to something else and login again.
Is the error still there?
You need to setup pChat new then!
