In french, the word is "Le" for masculine and "La" for feminine. the english correspondance is word "The".

I guess I could use zo_strformat, but then I would have to include the entire NPC list in Destinations, which I try to avoid as it is big enough already with the entire quests list.
Odd thing is, when I converted to csv format, the "^" character disappeared, so "garde du Domaine^m" became "garde du Domainem".
Guess I made it worse for myself (I still have the original data though)
