Downloading addons taking a LONG time.

I have been downloading addons for over an hour without completion.

What is the typical download time? I have a pretty good internet connection.

It should be very quick, most addons are small and should only take a couple seconds. Is the progress bar maybe stuck? Try restarting Minion.

My downloads are taking forever. I checked my path and it's the correct path, so I'm not sure what the issue is. Also, it didn't detect all of the addons I have installed in that folder, either.

Same here, stuck at the loading screen:

Initializing Window controls.
Fetching Global Configuration.
Loading ESO game data.
Loading ESO categories.
Loading ESO addons.
Detecting ESO-1 Installed AddOns
Detected 'Esohead'
Detected 'ZAM UnitFrames + ReactionColors'
Detected 'ZAM Stats'
Detected 'ZAM Stats Exp'
Detected 'ZAM Stats Quests'

and it just stays put, "loading" forever.

Can you post your minion.xml file?

Its located in your user directory under .minion.

C:\Users\<your windows username\.minion\minion.xml

Did you switch from US to EU on the ESO game client?

Here is mine and no, I live in the US, so I never needed to change to EU, ever.

Delete your minion.xml file and restart Minion. It will act like you just installed it and re-detect your games. Some reason you have a bad path in your detected games.

I dont think your problem is the same as VirusRenamon's. For you Minion loads ok but download an addon takes a long time? If you try restarting Minion does it work fine again?

Yeah I seen that when I opened it up in notepad, was confused why that was. But yeah, that fixed it for me.

Your config looks fine. What AddOn are you trying to install?

Just so we aren't mis-communicating could you attach a screen shot of what your updater looks like when its not working?

Thanks for your help

it seems to work when you click on the addon instead of the side download button
